I think we have to be pragmatic this season, MS needs time to assess his squad, surely that can only be done properly with competitive games.

Yes we need players in a couple of positions. But we also need time to get move on players and with only a few weeks left of the window, I can't see too much movement happening. Especially as every EFC signature takes weeks to get over line even after agreeing a fee.

All I'm saying Blues is have patience, we have the money, the backing a new stadium coming. I'm sure we will get it right. NSNO.

Metaphor a little mixed up there bud. Round pegs fit in square holes, square pegs don't fit in round holes.

But agree with the point about waiting for the right players rather than rash signings.

I understand the patience and what you are saying up to a point Lhrblue. Right off a Season before it has even started. I think Silva and Brands have been assessing for months or at least weeks prior to their appointment. I also believe that the signings will come at a rush beginning Monday 16th July.

I said I would rather write off the season than buy over priced players in a rush. Which would cause more problems if they don't hit the ground running.

Anyway Ed02, has not suggested we are near with offers or interest in any of the many players the rags say we are interested in. So I think 16th of July maybe ambitious.

But you are welcome to get excited by the new season. I'm just being a bit more cautious (It seemed to have worked for the World Cup! 👍)
