Why are we not trying to snap Jordan Rhodes up, I've said for weeks this guy will do great at Everton, heartbreakng to think a club like Boro will end up with him, even one of those cardboard cutouts of a police officer in a shop, has got to be a better option than Kone.

What do you think Ed as regards to Rhodes as a striker.

{Ed025's Note - i like him bri, but at an asking price of £13m is he really worth the risk of him not performing at the highest level?..im not sure mate..

If you put Anichebe and Kones price together not far off 13 million, yes I Ithink its worth a punt, the lad has quality,

Sometimes you have to take a chance, unlike Austin, he's not injury prone.

How about £8 million and Kone part exchange.

{Ed025's Note - now that i would vote for bri..

How about 13m but they have to take Kone to.

{Ed025's Note - they will want £15m if they have to take kone woburn.. :)

17 million if they take kone and McGeady

{Ed003's Note - The Venkys are very stubborn in their dealings, my hunch is they will sell as a substantial amount of income ( around £6m plus) will take them out of the championship embargo but saying that selling Hanley and Marshall might raise that revenue,anyway they are difficult to deal with apparently and have vowed to finance the club even if the bank won't,personally I think £10m is a fair value in this ridiculous new market.}
