Now Stones is out too and minor op for Oviedo think it's time to vet 100% behind whoever is selected to play.

Swan you little rascal, I saw somebody tweet that at the weekend ;)

3.) 08 Oct 2014
Swan maybe just maybe Browning may be selected along side Jags In central defence or Silvan may make a return we just don't know? if it is Alcaraz ans Jags then I may just ask my neighbour if she has any spare Watford tickets for next seasons match

I agree with Swan and sa90. If we lose to Villa then we are going down.

I want to go to that Watford game as well, so if anyone does have any spares let me know.

We are Everton

That's what we do

If we lose to Villa we are going down? Get a grip lads, still plenty of points to play for between now and next May. If the players showed the same defeatist attitude then you would be the first to slate them for it. Have a bit of faith, we have been in worse positions than this during my time supporting the blues. We WILL turn the corner

Mate I like your positive attitude and at a live match it is very much a plus!

We all love the fans who never say die they are the rock that our club was surely built on, and perhaps why we are here today sitting comfortably discussing our beloved Blues.

However there comes a time when we must get honest and realistic and look at the teams we are yet to play in the PL,

e.g. who we should be beating and/or drawing with from this time on without injuries or suspensions figuring, simply looking at the squad available and assessing truthfully to ourselves whether or not we stand a chance of a result.

Then the pattern (i.e. your corner) will reveal itself quicker than we might think!

247,
Do you agree then, if being both honest and realistic, that we will be fine come the end of the season? There are plenty of points to win before then and, if RM can get us firing again, we will be playing better football than we have thus far.
I totally agree that it is on a game per game basis but that's true for the opposition too. All teams get injuries and suspensions, it's up to the other to capitalise on these things.
I'm just a bit fed up of the negativity on this site at times. We all have a right to an opinion but at least be adult about the way it is expressed, some people on here amaze me! They seem to thrive when things aren't going so well, sad as it seems. If we only had a handful of games left then I would share their concerns. But we have only played 7 games so far! Nobody gets relegated after 7 games, no matter what the doom mongers say.

Sorry about the delay btw

Firstly yes there are many games to play with many points to gain from them!

However they are in the future and writing them off before we have played them is not what a true fan would do!

Nor should any of us regard them as 'in the bag' before we have played them that's just crazy!

What we can do is look at every individual game either pre match or post match and weigh up the odds e.g their form as well as our form etc.

Personally I prefer a retrospective assessment
So if we are losing to teams that on paper don't look as good as us I want to question the management team and their approach .

If we start losing games or even just dropping points on a regular basis when true popular consent amongst ourselves says we should have done better what do we?

This isn't Wigan (no disrespect) we should shout it from the roof tops if need be!

But not yet mate

Not yet .

No worries Blue. Couldn't agree more mate, we may be having a mini crisis of confidence but there is no need to panic. For the time being at least :)
