Apparently we’ve enquired about Dan James from Leeds.

Got to say think he’s one of the most frustrating players in the league, makes amazing runs but terrible end product.

Blue Danny I get the same feeling with gray but Gordon needs time and patience the lad is only 20 and in to his second season in what has been a far from perfect team so far.

Fair enough Matt lad, I just the think the two of them are guilty of holding on to the ball when they should play it early, and of giving the ball when they should carry it further.

I have to admit that I'm not at all hopeful that Mcneil is going to turn into a good signing, he doesn't look to have anything about him to me, his delivery was awful yesterday, he's so slow and languid, maybe when Frank Lampard changes they system we will see more, but I'm horribly pessimistic.

Yeah completely agree with that bluedanny but Gordon has a lot of learning to do at his age, and last season I wouldn’t want to pass to anyone on our team if I was him lol.

To be honest I’m not sure about him either but I was positive that iwobi wasn’t a player at all and he has well and truly proved me wrong so hopefully McNeil and gray follow suit, time will tell.

The criticism against Gordon is unfair. He was arguably our best player last season in a dreadful campaign, in a team that almost got relegated. Last season was his first full season. Do you remember when Salah went to Chelsea? He was older then as well. Players need time to develop.
