The transfers so far have been great, I'm very happy with the news Sandro has signed and hopefully Keane early this week. Strengthening the spine of the team is always a good building block. With a new stadium on its way supporting Everton has never been better in my 37 years. This must be what Utd/ arsenal/ Chelsea etc have felt over the last 15 years or so. The club deciding who they want and then going out and signing them. It's brilliant. Let's get Rom out sooner rather than later and sort the Ross thing one way or the othe asap as well.

Im excited for next season and future signing! COYB

and if you know your history.

Personally, I hope Rom stays. 20 goals a season nailed on.

I disagree Pierre our club was formed in 1878 and players like Dean Kendal Ball Harvey Labone Young West Wilson and countless other who Lukaku isn't fit to lace their boots knew what it meant to wear the royal blue shirt and would never dream of disrespecting the club by speaking out of turn like Lukaku for me he can go yes he might go and win more trophys at another club but there is something about playing in front of Everton and Liverpool fans if your loved and he is definitely not loved and before anyone mentions his goals when Everton won the league just Before Lineker came the goals where spread throughout the team we signed Gary and changed the way we played to benefit him he had a great season scoring goals but the rest of the team struggled to score we sold him and all of a sudden the team started scoring more goals I have a feeling that's what will happen again let's sell Rom say thanks wish him luck and he will be forgotten about apart from the 2 times he plays against us when Sly will make a big deal about it Happy Monday my fellow blues.

{Ed025's Note - its hard for me to argue about any of that BLUEY, nice post..

I'm disappointed Rom wants to leave us but don't bear any grudge Ffootballers agenda is different than 20 years ago. They are almost all money motivated so Rom is no different.
I agree that with more creativity in midfield especially with Sandros things will be better and more goals hopefully spread around.

Feeling proud to be a blue and praying Keane and Sandros happens today.
P. S Would love Giroud to join us as he's class and a proven Premier League goal scorer. :-)

Bluey78 I understand your frustration over Lukaku but to say he is not "fit" to lace the boots is the players you mention seems a bit harsh. He is not a scorcher, he is not northern, he is not English, in fact he is not British let alone an Evertonian! To compare him to players from eras so far gone is totally unjustified. Football has moved on and you cannot compare apples with bananas. Your reference to Lineker is worrying as we won the title with the squad b4 him and after him, then dropped off a cliff! I agree that the way he has handled himself off the pitch hasn't been the best, but on it. got to give him credit look at the players he has been playing with, I don't remember Everton slapping worlds record fees on Sharp, Gray or any of the players you have named above. Gutted yes, but this is a Belgian born boyhood Chelsea fan who has done the business in 2016-17 on the pitch more than any other player for a long time. Let's not be to harsh.

We'll have to agree to disagree Bluey.

Football has changed beyond recognition from the days of the Holy Trinity mate. Gone are the days of loyalty and the clubs ownibg players, the players rule now and it's a dofferent animal these days. What would you rather have, a 20+ goals a season player that is honest enough to admit his ambition, or a club stalwart who gives you lots of hyperbole about how he loves the club, but couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo? I know what I'd prefer!

I will agree about once he's gone he'll be forgotten. We move on, we always have done.
