Hot off the press. Lukaku has apparently said: I am absolutely convinced that moving to Everton was the best step in my career. When you feel everything is working out, it makes you so relaxed and happy as a player in big matches. I have a contract with Chelsea after this summer and I am not focusing on any move to Atletico.
Read into that what you want.

We all hope he does want to come back here and we can afford to make it happen. But, sadly I cannot see it. I think we will be priced out of it. I hope I am wrong though

BK often says he has a very good relationship with chelsea, let's wait and see.

The way I read what Lukaku is reported as saying, is that the time spent at Everton was just a "step" in his career. If we'd qualified for the Champions League - and were prepared (and able!) to pay what it would take - then he might have joined permanently - but that looks highly unlikely at present. On the other hand, he might just decide that we're really what's best for him career-wise. ;-)

He has some big holes in his game - decision making around the box - which are not top top quality - so Jose will not make him their number 1 player = unhappy bunny on the bench

Romelu Lukaku has revealed he has an opportunity to ‘stay at Everton’, a possibility he’ll explore after he spends some time in Belgium.

Speaking after Belgium’s elimination from the World Cup, the striker spoke of a transfer to Everton being a possibility.

Lukaku: “I have the opportunity to stay at Everton, it is a possibility and it is something we will have to talk about. But first I want to go back to Belgium, see my family and get some rest, ”
taken from a fan site today, I hope he does sign as the lad will only get better under the tutelage of Bobby. It's easy to forget he is only a young lad, the finished article will be immense
