In my opinion Dyche is the obvious choice , we just need a bit of pragmatism to get out of the situation we are in . About 2 manager searches ago many on here were against Howe as manager ( including myself ) because he couldn’t set up a team to defend yet look at Newcastles defensive record . My point being a good manager adapts his system to suit the players he has available and doesn’t try to get them to things they are not capable of . Personally I couldn’t give a Continental f*** if we play a 6 3 1 formation for the rest of the season if it keeps us up .
Relegation could mean financial armageddon and I keep having a recurring nightmare that the other lot take over the new stadium.

Agreed Holytrinity. Should have been done weeks ago.

Dyche or Big Dunc only realistic options we have atm.

How does 9 at the back sound and 1 up front. Get Pickford to aim for a bird in the sky and kick the ball as hard as he can and hopefully we get a flick on or a corner. You like the sound of them tactics.

{Ed025's Note - they are the ones we have been using all season Cheshire.. ?

So long as it gets us the points cheshire to finish 17th or above I really don't care.

You harp on anti dyche then champion Rooney. c'mon lad. Bottom of MLS. ?

Dyche played to his squads strengths at Burnley and vastly over achieved on a shoestring. He HAS to be 1 of the leading candidates for the job and imo a realistic on, only worry I have is if he actually wants the job.

I never championed Rooney mocker. I said if it’s him or Dyche I’d rather Rooney. Tbh I don’t even know you and I’d rather have you as manager than Dyche.

Mocker your worried Dyche wants the job ? he is on the bru at the min he can’t get a job anywhere. Hasn’t even had an interview. If he doesn’t get the job then only other option for him is Doorman in his local pub.

Ull do for me Chesireblue. ?.

All about opinions and like arseholes everyone has one.

Dyche is realistic imo and in our sorry state of affairs can't see any other realistic target. We ain't got the finances or credibility now to attract a calibre of manager that probably excite us all.

Just need steady ship and try somehow to prevent relegation if means Dyche and his so called style of play so be it. i'd have more faith in him than Rooney with Big Dunc a realistic alternative opposed to Rooney.
All about opinions and time will tell, there ain't a quick cure for this until moshiri sells up.

All he's done is make a few £s of us by proxy using his occasional connection to the job to score a local radio interview here and there. I've been fed up with him paying his bills, talking about us. Praying he doesn't get interviewed.
