Just listened to Sam talking about how they had to take Tosun out of squad and get him ready for Premier League football. I have give him stick at times but going on today's performance he got that one right.

1.) 11 Mar 2018 13:29:47
I would not expect many posters on here to give him any credit but he did well, and also played an attacking line up at home something we've not seen to often over the last couple of years!

2.) 11 Mar 2018 17:49:48
So he should get credit for playing an attacking team at home against Brighton? Ha ha ha ha.

19 Nov 2017 09:22:34
Watford reject another approach for Silva, do you think he will push for the move himself Ed?

{Ed025's Note - im not sure bobslad, i think he wants to come to us but his integrity will come into question if he just leaves mate..

1.) 19 Nov 2017 14:00:31
I wouldn’t mom my integrity in question if I was doubling my salary ed 😂😂😂.

{Ed025's Note - thats fine for him eddy but its us im more concerned about mate..

2.) 19 Nov 2017 15:19:24
would silva be our saviour ed, or another martinez.

{Ed025's Note - thats the $64,000 dollar question leinster, i happen to think he would be a good shout but i said that about our last 2 clowns mate so i dont think im the man to ask mate..

3.) 19 Nov 2017 15:33:19
Hi Ed what do your reckon Will we get Silva or not? Thanks.

{Ed025's Note - im really not sure eddy, i think moshiri wants him but prizing him from watford will not be easy mate..

4.) 19 Nov 2017 17:04:02
Think Silva would do good job for us but just get the feeling he won't hand his resignation into watford. We need to get a resolution to this one way or another soon as January transfer window will be here soon and if we don't have any stability manager wise then I think it will be hard to attract the players we need.

{Ed002's Note - He cannot simply resign and move to Everton.}

5.) 19 Nov 2017 15:55:30
Yeah and I don’t think he would resign ed but I don’t see the reason I. Watford keeping an unhappy manager donyou.

{Ed025's Note - it will be difficult for them eddy..

6.) 19 Nov 2017 17:55:31
They must have other options though! Had tonof learnt from he summer with giroud! Don’t put your eggs in one basket they say! You can see all the fans get uneasy and starting to ask questions now.

7.) 19 Nov 2017 18:32:08
When you are 8th in the table and 5 points of 4th, would you want to leave a club at this stage for one just above the relegation zone. Whether he is good or not, if I was Silva I think I might wait until January before jumping ship to another club. By then I might be walking the plank myself or being highly sought after.

09 Nov 2017 07:21:12
From early reports today it looks like they can't agree and it will be Unsy who carries on for now.

1.) 09 Nov 2017 09:16:40
What a joke! Get Big Sam in now. or he will charge twice as much at Xmas after the board sack Unsworth.

2.) 09 Nov 2017 09:31:22
Rich1202 are you big Sam in disguise.

3.) 09 Nov 2017 09:53:33
Big Sam or Big Dave . only one will do a job.

4.) 10 Nov 2017 07:18:02
To be fair I want Unsy to stay at the Club. The Scenario though could work out differently as so: If the Club decide to give him until the January window, we could be on the up by then or god forbid we could be in dire trouble. In the latter case the Club then sack Unsy and thus he is lost to out U23 set up as well.

{Ed025's Note - in my view dunc unsy is in a purely temporary role, and when the new manager is in place i fully expect him to return to his role as U23 manager where he is doing a fantastic job mate..

5.) 10 Nov 2017 13:22:13
unfortunately I believe Unsworth would be the next Craig Shakespeare waiting to happen!

31 Aug 2017 17:41:55
Niasse in London in talks with Palace.

1.) 31 Aug 2017 18:28:26
Done deal apparently. Good luck Oumar, Sorry it didn't work out for you. I will fondly remember the mystery surrounding your entire time at the club.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 18:50:43
Imagine palace fans fuming if we managed to sign benteke and they replace him with niasse.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 20:00:42
Yes please.

05 Jul 2017 10:06:43
Any truth in the Raul Jimenez stories?

{Ed025's Note - liverpool and west ham are interested bobslad but there is nothing linking him to us at the moment mate..

1.) 05 Jul 2017 10:42:10
even that article said it was probably garbage mate, pinch of salt.

2.) 05 Jul 2017 10:53:29
lot of talk of forward players ed any links to any defenders mate i think we still need good centre half an maybe quality left back to challenge baines, i know we have williams keane jags an mori but if keane were to getinjured we could be little short of that quality mate.

{Ed025's Note - lamine kone and lemos have both been mentioned djr but no strong links to any full backs yet, but its early yet and that could easily change mate..

3.) 05 Jul 2017 11:30:28
would stay clear of kone mate thanks for update ed.

{Ed025's Note - me too mate but the club dont consult me.. :)

4.) 05 Jul 2017 12:02:42
According to SSN we have made a bid for him, when will this end, financial fair play should look good next season ha ha.

5.) 05 Jul 2017 13:45:34
Should be OK murff if we sell a few on.

I won't properly relax until we are totally safe and its then that i try and put things into perspective but one thing i do know already and that's we are extremely lucky to have bagged Theo. How the hell there wasn't a big queue for him amazes me.

1.) 10 Feb 2018 18:36:39
As you say mate a real bargain,

2.) 10 Feb 2018 21:17:10
It is all to do with perspective. Walcott in my view would make an excellent No: 10. As it is (and he and Allardyce hinted thus) his belief and Sam obviously agrees is that he can play all across the front line. Mr Wenger, (who I will not argue with) thought otherwise.

3.) 10 Feb 2018 21:33:08
Pleased to have been proved wrong about Walcott. I said we should swerve him because I thought he was injury-prone and overrated, but he’s looked fantastic in the few games he’s played for us so far.

Best signing we’ve made in a long time, particularly given that he was one of the cheaper ones we’ve made.

Still can’t quite believe I’m saying £20m was a cheaper signing for us. Oh how times have changed.

31 Jan 2018 22:36:23
How much ground did Gana Gueye cover tonight, nearly every second ball was his. If he could find a settled partner it would be great.

31 Jan 2018 06:23:47
Looks like we are getting Mangala from City, could that be Keane on his way out?

17 Nov 2017 14:08:09
Just watched Silva press conference. You can tell he wants to talk to us but it's obviously in his hands.

23 Oct 2017 14:36:27
Right. who do we want?

{Ed025's Note - tuchel for me bobslad..

1.) 23 Oct 2017 15:52:57
Marco silva for me.

{Ed025's Note - yeah great choice pauly, getting watford to let him go will be difficult though mate..

2.) 23 Oct 2017 16:24:55
Let's see how Unsy goes first. As said before he knows the Club inside out, has done brilliantly with the U23's, is old School and believes in playing players in their positions. 45 million on a No 10 and shove him out on the wing (ridiculous) . Unsy will play Rooney up top and tell him to stay there, wingers will be used and the defence coached how to defend. They are saying Unsy and Royal again but I would prefer big Dunc and Unsy on the side of the pitch. Who is going to misfire when Dunc is in the Managers area.

The one thing i totally agree with in these posts is when 'ollblue' stated that it would be a breath of fresh air for us. We need that more than at any time in our recent History.

The difference is that when Kante wins the ball 9 times out of ten he has an option usually ahead of him to move it onto.

Well said, let's hope everyone gets the ground bouncing tonight and show some of our new players what the atmosphere can be like at our place.

I for one will be getting right behind him and I hope everyone else does. Whether we like it or not they need our support. Let's help and get our team back up the league.

Hope this one is true GB, I was thinking that either they couldn't agree on who it was to be or they had someone lined up. Here's hoping.

Charlie Adams deserves everything he gets. I will take hard players all day long but he is a snide who leaves a foot in.

Watched the game myself, each player looked fitter and they all moved for each other. We obviously need some sort of settled side and then the understanding will start to happen.

In the longer term it might be Bolasie who Lookman comes in for as its hard to come back from that long out and play week after week.

Its continuity what we are after at the back and its still going to take a while longer. Once we get a settled back four and they are used to playing together and talking to each other it will obviously be a lot better.
