Hi all, I'm new to this site and look forward to talking to all you fellow blues on here. I don't know bout you lot, but what is going on wiv our team again this season? Personally, I think Silvas days are numbered and I sensed that in Moshiris words last week at the club night held. But I think the blame here should right Farhads door, don't get me wrong, there's some really good things going on at the Monday our club thanks to Farhad and his investment (ie the new ground, money for transfers etc) - but where I think he's failed big time is in the area of manager recruitment - whoever is advising him is quite clearly the wrong person - Silva was never the right person, in my opinion he's a journey man and simply not up to the bigness of this job that is required. At the moment we look like Everton under Martinez and our position in the table reflects that fact, even big Sam had more points on the board than Silva at this stage, even with his dire style of play which really speaks of how poorly Silva is doing and underachieving with this current group of players that have cost us a lot of dosh. If things don't improve I'm quite sure Farhad will fire Silva at the end of the season but he has to learn lessons and recruit the right person this time as the previous lot have all been complete failures and are not helping us whatsoever in achieving our aims to be back in the top 4, in fact we're actually a laughing stock amongst other clubs and their supporters at the moment. I know this will cause a stir - but for me, Moyes was the best manager we had at Everton out of the last lot, and just in mind we were actually playing some good football towards the end of his reign and everything that was wrong about this current Everton team (ie commitment and attitude and discipline etc) was right under him because the players then knew and understood what was expected of them and what Everton meant to the supporters and players alike, and just remember all on a very remote budget with no where near the vast amounts we've squandered away in the last 5/ 6 years. So how about a long term plan here and bring Moyes back, give him a chance to complete the job he started and get us back to that top 4/ 6 level and then move on again after that with a top appointment with someone like a Simeone or a Ancelotti if it doesn't work out with him. all I'm saying is there has to be a definite plan going forward if we are to reach our ambitions as at the moment we are going nowhere but backwards and very mediocre mid table at best, if it was me - I would give out Moyes back in short term and give him that chance, he's the best we've had at this club in the last 20 years without a doubt in terms of strategy, commitment, attitude and consistency in league placings! '.

. & b4 you all say it - yes he failed at Man Utd. but then so have Jose, Loui Van Gaal and others, so no shame there as the job was just too big for him . I look at players like Gomez in midfield - he is so lacking at the moment in fitness, technical and confidence - everything ironically that Moyes was good at instilling in players that had previously failed elsewhere - remember Arteta at Rangers? Look what Moyes turned him into at Everton, I feel he could do same here with Gomez as Silva quite clearly isn’t doing with him at the moment. remember Cahill from Millwall. just imagine what Moyes might do with Richarlison right now who is another so clearly lacking right now. & so I could go on.

Soli blue, actually Moyes did not fail at Man Utd, he just was not the person the Utd faithful or Board wanted, he was Fergy's choice. Look at Utd Manager stats and Moyes is up there on win/ loss stats quite high as it happens. It is true that some Managers are made to fit the Clubs they are at, for Moyes that was us. He was ambitious and so he should have been, it was the manner of his leaving that stuck in the craw. There is no way some would ever have him back, I am on the fence the same as some are on the fence about Silva, I just think my sitting position is more comfortable.
