Great result and good performance coming off the disappointment against spurs. Good to see the doom merchants quiet, at least if only for a few hours.

Silva/ brands Everton showed the improvements that have been made since big sams departure, we would never of performed like we did today under the last regime.

Hopefully the improvements keep coming and the window might help address the squads weaknesses.

Great little late present from the boys today’s, thanks lads.

I agree PB keep those doom merchants quiet, never liked them anyway, and never let the truth get in the way of a good fairytale.

Beating Burnley at the present time is no big deal, let's go to Brighton and win. Nice to win and win well but it does not change my opinion of the state of the club.
Only posting just to let you know that the so called doom merchants as you like to call us are alive and well happy new year.

Everton having a blip against Spurs is no big deal either, Spurs are no mugs and will roll other teams over as well, for me everything that could go wrong did, the disallowed goal, our mix up in defence and the ball falling right in the path of an incoming Spurs player, we certainly helped Spurs, but for me a bad Day at the office, will happen to most teams.

Just a case of taking the good with the bad, Silva and Brands are still in their infancy, you just cannot expect everything to click right away unless you get a huge slice of luck.

The players brought in are doing an excellent job, the key is trying to get Gomes signed and a top class striker, depending how Kenny progresses then a right back as well.

Not sure how many seasons Klopp has been in charge, but he certainly got time to build his own team, just give Silva the same time to build his team and I think he will most certainly take us to the next level.

Forget the knee jerk reactions after a poor game, this guy needs time and the backing from us all to get us there.
