Anybody still think i was mad to suggest we could very well be in danger of relegation with the squad we currently have?

Hopefully we will get in a left back and centre back at an absolute minimum and a new defensive mid to replace scheiderlin wouldn't go amiss. I would love docoure but that's highly unlikely.

Another striker is probably needed as well but I think richarlison could be suited to playing upfront when needed especially if we can get Lookman to stay.

I’d like to think not SirLoin, but I thought that last season too! The lack of confidence and spark still appears to be missing, but we have chopped and changed the team about in the friendliest. Moshiri will not want another season like last and (please! ) will back the manager to the hilt over the next 12 days.

Dark Clouds, can we at least get a few games under our belt before we start talking about relegation? As things stand, we’re on the same points as City and Utd!
Seriously though, people just need to calm down a bit. Friendlies don’t look great but we all asked for a change of direction - now we MUST back the players and the manager.

Totally agree with you BLUE but have to say, in jest, we're also equal bottom as things stand.
Marco and Marcel have some work to do but we need to stop the negativity and let them get on with it
To be fair to Dark Cloud and Pavilion they've been moaning from even before the new team was in place - not sure why they call themselves fans - it's all doom and gloom, dark clouds actually


Quick prediction - before the start of the season we will make another 4 signings. Bedding them in might make the start a bit hairy but we will be top 7 by the end of the season and playing some good football. Usmanov will move to EFC and in 2-4 years we will be top 4, ready for the new stadium

there will be only blue clouds and a new pavilion.

To be honest I like many fans was really optimistic that things where turning for us around 4-5 years ago. We had a fantastic team with a great young spine followed by a billionaire owner. Sadly they have all left now and it seems we have regressed to mediocrity.

I totally get that it's going to be a long process but I'm more annoyed at the fact that we messed up by not planning ahead with regards to Baines and Jagielka etc. But to be fair to the club they have shaken up the board and brought in a DOF.

To be fair though like a lot of fans I haven't seen us win anything, heck I haven't even whitnessed a victory at Anfield so you can understand why i'm being quite negative lol.
