Reports now coming out that Onyekuru has been examined by EFC docs and his injury is not as serious as first reported

6 weeks out rather than 6 months so great news if it's true.

1.) 29 Dec 2017 15:52:26
There is conflicting reports on this. journos in Belgium reporting that he does and Echo today reports same.

2.) 29 Dec 2017 23:29:54
Yeah strange one tbh. The news must've come from somewhere so god knows what the situation actually is.

I just hope whatever the severity of his injury he recovers in time for next season assuming he can get a work permit by then.

If we ever did look at Dost do you know if he is someone we would still look to sign ed? .

{Ed025's Note - we did look at him sir loin but that was the dutch factor under koeman, im not sure how sam feels about him mate..

1.) 05 Dec 2017 14:43:31
Ah right. I thought that may be the case. It would be a shame if we didn't go for him as he's quality imo and on fire this season.

Tbh though I would expect a lot of competition for him if he was to move so it may be difficult for us to get him.

{Ed002's Note - I would put him out of your mind.}

05 Sep 2017 07:25:33
Just read an article about cheick diabate and that he's currently a free agent.

It would make sense tbh proven scorer wherever he has gone. Tall, strong and reasonably quick.

If it didn't work out you could always sell him 12 months down the line for profit.

What's the likelihood that we would look into this ED? Or will we do with what we've got until Jan?

{Ed002's Note - I don't see any chance of it happening at all.}

1.) 05 Sep 2017 12:40:28
He was good for me on football manager at osmanlispor. Hahaha. Don't know much about him in real life tho.

Think we should go with what we got rather than looking for freebies who may not improve the squad.

08 Jul 2017 20:45:19
Is there still any interest in cyle Larin ed?

{Ed002's Note - As I said on March 28 - I am not aware of any interest in Larin from Everton nor how he would be expected to gain a Work Permit in England. However, Besiktas has shown an interest in the Orlando player.}

1.) 09 Jul 2017 06:07:34
Oh right. Must've missed that

Cheers for the info. He's definitely worth keeping tabs on for the future imo.

I don't know how it all works but would his recent DUI offence have any implications on him getting a work permit if he ticked all the other criteria.

{Ed002's Note - No that would not be a major hurdle but there is no interest from Everton.}

15 Mar 2017 20:01:31
Mbappe looking quality for Monaco once again already got himself an early goal as well.

Do any eds know of any interest in him from the Prem. Would love is to make a big move for him if Rom does go.

{Ed025's Note - arsenal and chelsea have both had a look at him sir loin, but no interest from us so far mate..

Just read an interesting article on Onyekuru. According to a close friend Anderlecht age intentionally no played him since his return despite him being fit to increase there chances of getting him back next season.

He wasn't included in nigerias provisional squad so it currently looks unlikely that he will be playing for us at the moment : (

It's a shame tbh as he looks a real talent. Him on one side with lookman or Walcott on the other would be a real force.

1.) 15 May 2018 15:04:59
Well if I was everton I'd loan him out to another team and in there league so he will go against them.

14 May 2018 14:08:52
Glad that this season Is finally now over!

Massive summer ahead in terms of shipping the shite out and getting it right this time in terms of signings.

One player we should seriously be looking at is Ajer from Celtic. The lad looks a huge talent imo. Really reminiscent of john stones the way he strides up the pitch with the ball.

1.) 14 May 2018 16:30:55
He's just signed a new 4yr deal.

03 May 2018 23:33:30
Probably in the minority but I was speaking with a few red mates and they where shocked to hear that I wanted them to win the final.

I don't know tbh it's a strange 1 isn't it. If it was any other round then no but as it's the final I would rather them win than real as it's great for the city.

What do you all think?

1.) 04 May 2018 03:55:27
I've been a blue all my life but my late Mum and Dad and the rest of the family are/ were reds so, in respect to them, I've never resented LFC winning anything once we are out of it.

Looking to the day though when we are back in the ascendancy and we make our own history.

{Ed0333's Note - nice post mate thankyou.

2.) 04 May 2018 05:52:58
I think a lot of Evertonians come from a mixed marriage. My Mother's side are Red and my father's Blue. For my late Mother I hope Liverpool crush them.

3.) 04 May 2018 06:43:21
I hope LFC win as it's European opposition. What I won't do though is tell them. 😉 Shhhh.

4.) 04 May 2018 07:19:35
In general, I genuinely couldn’t care less whether they win lose or draw, but I’ve got a lot of red family and friends, so I’d like them to win to make my friends and family happy.

5.) 04 May 2018 07:42:43
Love it Smit. Yeah that's me too. Bit jealous but won't let them know I admire what they are achieving. shhhhhh!

6.) 04 May 2018 07:47:36
I want them to lose they are our rivals and if they win we will have all kopites rubbing it in either way just like the semi final I will not be watching it because it's not us in the final right I'm off to buy a real Madrid shirt and a case of Sam Miguel.

7.) 04 May 2018 08:26:29
5 times for the last 13 years is bad enough, god help us if it’s 6.

8.) 04 May 2018 09:39:41
I hear that bignev. Like nails on a chalk board. Also under no circumstances does Jordan Henderson (especially) and other players in the team deserve to be carried to a CL medal by an outstanding front 3.

9.) 04 May 2018 10:45:45
For me personally, it's irrelevant. I couldn't care less about them. Although I must admit you can't help but like the way they play, Salah and Klopp. However, I work in a place with about 200 employees, and if they win the armchair Reds will be unbearable (it always seems to ke that the few who actually go the game at my work aren't too bad, but the one's who have their Sky Sports season ticket are insufferable) . So regretfully, I want them to lose.

10.) 04 May 2018 12:24:01
They wouldn't want us to win it, believe me. Not the proper fans anyway. I hope they get beat in the last minute in the cruelest way possible.
I've already resigned to them winning it tho, looking for flights to Madrid to watch it over there.

11.) 04 May 2018 14:22:37
I hope they go 3-0 up in the first half. Then get clawed back to 3-3. Beaten on Pens and then their bus breaks down on the way to the airport.

Better not bitter.

12.) 04 May 2018 19:12:39
That'd be the dream Toffee Ace mate.

13.) 04 May 2018 19:44:48
I want them to win. But at the same time can't be bothered with them winnig it becuase you will never hear the end of it: from fans that don't know what the inside of Anfield looks like.

14.) 04 May 2018 21:59:15
My mother was a red and my father a blue.

Was really tough growing up with a Smurf for a father and an umpa lumpa for a mother.

18 Apr 2018 09:45:55
I honestly don't get what the club hopes to achieve with the questions regarding allardyce on the survey.

I'm pretty certain 95% of fans will score home a 1 or 2 just because we are so pi**ed off with the fact he's even Are manager in the first place.

He's done what was required so you would have to say he probably deserves a 6 for turning it around during the Christmas period.

But yeah as I said I'm pretty sure the results will be indicative of the fact nearly every fan dislikes him as a man and a manager rather than a true reflection of his performance especially early on.

Regardless there is no way he can be in charge next season anyway.

{Ed001's Note - will the other 5% give a 0 then?}

1.) 18 Apr 2018 11:16:32
Think it's just PR, mate, Bill is good at that, will they let us know the results? A big no.

2.) 18 Apr 2018 11:28:39
I'm in that 5% ED01 ha ha and it's not because he was appointed our manager I have made no secret of the fact I hate the guy but when he came in he had my support and he proved me correct he is a terrible manager and I will be surprised if anyone gives him 2 or above.

{Ed001's Note - I am surprised I always thought you loved him....}

3.) 18 Apr 2018 12:28:04
as much as I love my mother in law ED01 and she scares the poop out of me ha ha.

{Ed001's Note - so that's a yes, as you loved her enough to marry a younger version of her that will eventually turn into her when she gets older. I bet that's cheered you up looking forward to the future now.}

4.) 18 Apr 2018 12:35:11
He has done what was expected with the help of some very poor teams below us, how the hell we are still ninth shows how poor the rest below us are.

He was one very lucky manager early doors, soft penalties our way, penalties missed by opponents, woodwork rattled more times than a police raid on a brothal by opponents, we picked points up against lesser teams who to be fair
Played better than ourselves.

The 1-1 draw last week and putting a defender on instead of going for it was the last straw for me, has a as long as we do not get beat mentality, rather settle for a point than try for three.

5.) 18 Apr 2018 13:25:31
ha ha yeah cheers ED01 I have been on the phone to the solicitor and I'm now getting divorced.

{Ed001's Note - I am glad to know I have helped someone to start the first step to a better life!}

6.) 18 Apr 2018 15:29:41
Ed 1 is right getting rid of Sam will be the first step to a better life

the wife two.

7.) 18 Apr 2018 16:09:28
Just going back on what bignev has said. I think if we did didn't have Pickford there's a strong chance we would be fighting relegation. He is one of the main reasons we are so high up. Not Sam or his style of play. Get Sam gone asap. I'd get rid now and let Big Dunc or Rhino take the rains for the rest of the season. Cut that cancer out.

I'm not the most active poster on here but would just like to offer my condolences to Grumpys family. He was a great contributer to the page and will be sorely missed. rip mate.

Yeah pay no attention to odds! S. Lee was telling his mates to put money on them going to West Brom. The odds where 30-1 and then 7-1 before they recently appointed there manager.

Yeah I suppose it would be a gamble but then so is any player at any price. Just look at davy klassen although he hasn't exactly been used properly.

Haha yeah £60k isn't exactly a gamble but it was in the sense that he was essentially a Sunday league player and we are a prem team.

He would certainly be worth the gamble imo. He's probably one of the best two footed players I've ever seen. Saying that seamus was a HUGE! Gamble wasn't he and he certainly paid off. Do you have any idea of what sort of fee they would be looking for ED?

{Ed025's Note - i would be guessing sir loin, my trepidation would be that we have a quite a few youngsters in the team and i would like someone with more experience at the top level myself, its not that i dont think he would improve us though mate..

Yeah he's a strange one. I went to the Barnsley game when he made his debut and he looked really good, kinda reminded me of jack Wilshire with his low centre of gravity.

He also scored a cracker on his debut for Frankfurt. It will be interesting to see if he gets a go.

To be honest with you mate if look at it he has no affiliation with either club. At the Moment unfortunately West Ham are probably a more attractive proposition with the new stadium and being located in London.

Hope so as it looks quite nice tbh. I honestly think are kit this season set the standard for us lol. Most boring Sunday league looking price of rubbish basically equated to a season of mediocrity.

Safe to say I wasn't a fan of it anyway lol.

Yeah I wondered about that to. what are the rules on registration of players Ed? Are we allowed to register Luke Garbutt now with it being January?

{Ed002's Note - Sure, but the rules are very clear how long they need to be registered for before being available and the numbers of players in the squad.}

That lad Adeniran looked decent. Quick and strong with an eye for a pass. Could be one for the first team in a year or so.
