Reports now coming out that Onyekuru has been examined by EFC docs and his injury is not as serious as first reported

6 weeks out rather than 6 months so great news if it's true.

1.) 29 Dec 2017 15:52:26
There is conflicting reports on this. journos in Belgium reporting that he does and Echo today reports same.

2.) 29 Dec 2017 23:29:54
Yeah strange one tbh. The news must've come from somewhere so god knows what the situation actually is.

I just hope whatever the severity of his injury he recovers in time for next season assuming he can get a work permit by then.

If we ever did look at Dost do you know if he is someone we would still look to sign ed? .

{Ed025's Note - we did look at him sir loin but that was the dutch factor under koeman, im not sure how sam feels about him mate..

1.) 05 Dec 2017 14:43:31
Ah right. I thought that may be the case. It would be a shame if we didn't go for him as he's quality imo and on fire this season.

Tbh though I would expect a lot of competition for him if he was to move so it may be difficult for us to get him.

{Ed002's Note - I would put him out of your mind.}

05 Sep 2017 07:25:33
Just read an article about cheick diabate and that he's currently a free agent.

It would make sense tbh proven scorer wherever he has gone. Tall, strong and reasonably quick.

If it didn't work out you could always sell him 12 months down the line for profit.

What's the likelihood that we would look into this ED? Or will we do with what we've got until Jan?

{Ed002's Note - I don't see any chance of it happening at all.}

1.) 05 Sep 2017 12:40:28
He was good for me on football manager at osmanlispor. Hahaha. Don't know much about him in real life tho.

Think we should go with what we got rather than looking for freebies who may not improve the squad.

Is there still any interest in cyle Larin ed?

{Ed002's Note - As I said on March 28 - I am not aware of any interest in Larin from Everton nor how he would be expected to gain a Work Permit in England. However, Besiktas has shown an interest in the Orlando player.}

1.) 09 Jul 2017 06:07:34
Oh right. Must've missed that

Cheers for the info. He's definitely worth keeping tabs on for the future imo.

I don't know how it all works but would his recent DUI offence have any implications on him getting a work permit if he ticked all the other criteria.

{Ed002's Note - No that would not be a major hurdle but there is no interest from Everton.}

15 Mar 2017 20:01:31
Mbappe looking quality for Monaco once again already got himself an early goal as well.

Do any eds know of any interest in him from the Prem. Would love is to make a big move for him if Rom does go.

{Ed025's Note - arsenal and chelsea have both had a look at him sir loin, but no interest from us so far mate..

Can't understand why we didn't go back in for deulofeu? . Also Docoure should be someone we are looking at for the summer imo.

New image uploaded to the
Everton Player Sightings page entitled, Tosun in London today

1.) 01 Jan 2018 12:45:44
Hopefully signing for us but you know what we are like. We'll miss out and he'll sign for west ham or someone.

{Ed002's Note - Everton have made two offers as I explained and have travelled to Turkey in respect of this deal. The club originally effectively ran in to two representatives of Besiktas who were at Chelsea talking to them about another player when they found out they had held meetings in London with two other clubs (not West Ham) about Tosum. There is no assurance it will be completed but I think you should feel reasonably comfortable about it. As a plan B, Everton watched Karl Toko Ekambi score two goals against Dijon on December 20.}

2.) 01 Jan 2018 15:24:48
Could we get both, ed? Think we need a couple to take pressure off dcl.
I'd love to know how we 'ran into' them in London. Do we have offices in London or maybe Mr moshiri or bill do?

{Ed002's Note - Well I think letting Oumar Niasse leave would be a mistake but I fear it will happen. That will leave them wanting Sandro to stay when he really wants to leave. I doubt both.}

31 Dec 2017 13:04:21
Hiya Ed

Do you know if we have a first choice buy back option for Deulofeu? . I'm sure I remember something like that being mentioned when We signed him

Would anyone even want him back? . I certainly would so it will be interesting to see what happens if coutinho does go.

{Ed025's Note - i dont recall one sir loin..mind you i cant remember if i have put sugar in my tea half the time mate..

1.) 31 Dec 2017 13:13:50
Is he any fitter, better, more hard working than before. If not then he can stay there for me. We've got enough players who only want to play 45 minutes as it is.

2.) 31 Dec 2017 18:24:11
Id rather vlasic and lookman get game time before him. Both are better imo.

29 Dec 2017 03:44:27
Regardless of wether we sign Tosun or not we should go all out for Aboubakar.

I think he's only recently signed a new contract so don't know how feasible a deal would be but he would be a pretty decent mould for the void left by Lukaku imo.

23 Oct 2017 17:51:34
What do you all reckon will happen with Ross now? . Was Koeman the main reason he wanted to leave?

I'm intrigued to see who comes in but please don't let it be bloody Dyche.

I don't think I could ever listen to any club interviews with him as manager lol. I just want to give him a glass of water and say clear your bloody throat!

{Ed002's Note - Time has come for him to move on but I don't know if he will or not.}

1.) 23 Oct 2017 17:55:43
If you listen to Dyche I think he’s trying to set up a future career in stand up comedy 😳.

2.) 23 Oct 2017 17:59:39
Ha ha as long as the players play with passion and proud of the blue shirt and he improves that defence Dyche good as anyone but would he want it as we in a terrible mess.

{Ed025's Note - of course he would trebor..

3.) 23 Oct 2017 18:46:08
Think we need to stay clear of the gingers! Only messing don’t take offence. Marco Silva has to be the man for me if not I’d also try for the Hoffenheim manager not sure on his name.

4.) 23 Oct 2017 20:01:54
You tell him Southern Toffee, I will hold your coat! Is there an address in the pocket where we can send your remains?

Yeah I suppose it would be a gamble but then so is any player at any price. Just look at davy klassen although he hasn't exactly been used properly.

Haha yeah £60k isn't exactly a gamble but it was in the sense that he was essentially a Sunday league player and we are a prem team.

He would certainly be worth the gamble imo. He's probably one of the best two footed players I've ever seen. Saying that seamus was a HUGE! Gamble wasn't he and he certainly paid off. Do you have any idea of what sort of fee they would be looking for ED?

{Ed025's Note - i would be guessing sir loin, my trepidation would be that we have a quite a few youngsters in the team and i would like someone with more experience at the top level myself, its not that i dont think he would improve us though mate..

Yeah he's a strange one. I went to the Barnsley game when he made his debut and he looked really good, kinda reminded me of jack Wilshire with his low centre of gravity.

He also scored a cracker on his debut for Frankfurt. It will be interesting to see if he gets a go.

He was spotted in a Turkish restaurante in London earlier having a scran so I would expect him to be on his way down tomorrow/ tonight.

Yeah I wondered about that to. what are the rules on registration of players Ed? Are we allowed to register Luke Garbutt now with it being January?

{Ed002's Note - Sure, but the rules are very clear how long they need to be registered for before being available and the numbers of players in the squad.}

It's 99% going to be O'Neil. Haven't you seen the pic of him in goodison park with kenright?

That lad Adeniran looked decent. Quick and strong with an eye for a pass. Could be one for the first team in a year or so.

My point was the top teams all have pace. Instead of addressing that issue and bringing in pace and a striker we wasted money on Klassen, Sigurdsson and Rooney who are all slow and play the same position.

The last few performances are probably the worst I have ever seen from an Everton team and something has to change now.

I'll take getting beat by the top 4 teams but it's the manner of are performances at the moment that is a real worry.

Smitt666

It's not so much that we have lost Pacey player. It's the fact that without Rom in the team to win us games we need pace and at the min we have none.

Look at them lot with mane salah and coutinho. city with aguero, Jesus and sterling plus more.

I could go on tbh.

I don't see how any footy fan couldn't see that pace is the problem for us coupled with someone to hit.
