I’d be interested to know what interpretation you would give to the quote below (taken directly from Watford’s statement) .

“We believe this situation is not about a compensation figure but the principle of making a stand when the actions of one Premier League club completely undermine and cause intrinsic damage to a fellow member club. “

What is the “intrinsic damage” would you say?

{Ed002's Note - Anecdotal that the illegal and unprofessional approach by Everton football club caused distraction to their manager and the club. The complaint is a specific breach of a specific regulation. I am not so sure why you are all struggling with this.}

That being the case, then why did we hire the guy, if our alleged approach caused his professionalism to implode. This is a Manager/ Coach that does not tend to stay long anywhere, hardly the consistency and long term plan our Club is apparently after. I am playing devils advocate in this, so a grown up conversation please.

{Ed002's Note - Aside from a period at Estoril he was a journeyman player and a journeyman manager but he was the one recommended to Everton and he was the one the club went after.}

Ed2. Ignoring all this tapping up business for a moment. Do you believe Everton finally took the proper advice and appointed the right manager?

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure. There has to be a decent sized risk for someone who has made so many moves in a short period of time.}

chrs ed002, they were my thoughts. We shall as ever see what we will see. For myself, never again do I wish to see planes with banners and the booing of our own players.
