With Baines still injured and Martina not the solution in many fans' eyes, should we look to be using Garbutt (promoted to first-team squad) or Galloway (early return from loan) or Robinson (at end of this season's loan) as our future left-back (s) OR do we bring in an established left-back now - even if that blocks the progress of these younger lads?

Good question. I was thinking that ealier.

I liked Garbutt when Baines was out before. I thought he was a miniature version of him.

Need to buy an established left back now, won’t block the progress, just gives the young players competition which should make them more hungry to fight for their place.

Wrong choice of word there. I should of said younger and not miniature.

Good question Booby think we need a quality left back now don't think we can wait for a youngster to be ready and I can't see Garbutt getting a chance would love Tierney from Celtic or the lad from Bristol.

Definitely one who is established I think. Baines won't be a 1st choice LB next season his legs will have almost certainly gone if they haven't gone already. We need a ready made replacement with one of the kids as back up along with Baines.

Garbutt is not premier league standard. He struggled badly on loan in the championship.

Time to bring genuine left wing back.
