This morning I am feeling the truth of the axiom, "It's the hope that kills you"

With Koeman at the helm I would have expected defeat as usual and been able to face it with equanimity. This hope stuff is a heady brew and a come down would be all the more of a plummet to the rocks of despair.

I agree totally
I have actually started to become immune to loosing and that terrible hurt has not been there of late .
Today I am feeling apprehensive but with some optimism but if we loose the pain will be greater and if it is followed by defeat against Watford I will be full of despair.
Oh the woes of being born BLUE.
The heady days of the 80’s and being in Rotterdam seem a million miles away at the moment .
When I was sat watchibg the likes of Alex the Golden Vision little did I know what ups and downs I was going to suffer .
Oh as a side interest I watched THE GOLDEN VISION again recently on U Tube maybe old and in B&W but a must for all younger Evertonians to watch
