So it's all over for another 6 months. and from my perspective we have sold Lukaku to Utd and not replaced anywhere near adequately enough (hopes on DCL) and Barkley who clearly wants to go and Koeman seems content on letting him leave decides to stay until Jan at least. It's at this point I really would like to sit down with all those utopian fans who say "sell him if he as disrespected our great club", he's not that good anyway. - yeah right, Barkley is that bad that the current prem champions and Conte (decent enough manager) thought about recruiting him for £35 million. And The Lukaku sale for £75+ million again absolutely NO excuses to be scrambling around trying to find a replacement last minute. Please someone tell me I'm not loosing my marbles here and being ultra negative but we loose x3 strikers over the summer and bring in. £6mil potential and x3 no 10's and can't get rid of our current No 10 who Koeman dosent rate yet Chelsea interested in buying. Not good enough. Net spend 45mil. I feel that I've been conned again by my Club.

So who told you we where scrambling around at the last minute to find players? Oh yeah the media. Here is my bit of bull RK went for the player he wanted could not get him at the present time looked at his available options and thought I am happy with what I have.

From day one a proven target man was the goal. Siggy was both for 45 odd mill to hit a target man. Feels like when your mrs goes shopping for a dress and comes home with 4 pairs of shoes. We missed the boat we signed great players but I feel we didn't hit the priorities. i'm very happy with what we signed just think the balance was wrong. I'd be devastated if DCL and Rooney didn't look like that have a point to prove.

Fair point. it was Moshiri (I think who mentioned a signing of intent) , and I think it was Koeman who gave Barkley a date that has long since passed. Koeman is currently in Portugal which is fair enough as he stated he wanted a striker and a left sided player from the board. If it is the case that the ones he wanted wouldn't come and he looked at what he has got and thought I am happy with what I have got, your right however I hope that is not the case as that's more worries than failure in this market. Just to be clear I am made up, I really am with Sigurdson, Rooney, Keane, Pickford it's the complete lack of pace that worries me combined with a lack of a target man if (again media) it's true that Koeman likes upfront. I was expecting a bit more that's all, looking up for all the right reasons and hoping I suppose.
