Whatever you might think about managers like Allardyce, Pulis, Hughes, etc., they know how to get results and next season they - and all other PL managers - will have massive funds to strengthen their teams.
The "top" teams will also spend big and try to re-establish their supremacy.
Other clubs will think they can emulate Leicester City.
As it stands, our PL place will be under serious threat unless there is a massive improvement - and that surely means a new manager.

The warning signs for next season are already in place Sid, unless the board act quick. They only need to look at Aston Villa and Newcastle.
On sky tonight Jamie Carragher states RM must go tomorrow, Nial Quinn says before the weekend, quoting Everton are not a quick sacking club but must act. Surely not everybody is wrong in their judgement.
Absolutely disgraceful performance tonight. An embarrassment for the club and fans. Not one player put a full shift in and if it means a full clear out then so be it no matter who they are. In fact that might be the answer with a new manager.
The board are not acting in the best interest of Everton FC, but in the best interest of their investment.

In the words of Meatloaf Sid 'You took the words right out of my mouth'.

Really admire that type of manager. A modern and winner in a similar type style is Simeone. Absolute class. I know were not going to get him but someone similar would do me.

Totally agree CPS for 18 months now he has been unable to turn our results around. I would take Hughes or Allatdyce over RM right now. Don't think SA gets the credit he deserves got Bolton up kept them up and bought Jayjay Okatcha (spelling) and a few others and played some good stuff.

Full clear-out and we won't get good value. We'd be ripped off. New manager and see how the squad performs with a few additions. If its still bad then have a big clear-out. Think a new manager would be enough of a change and whole squad overhaul might disrupt things too much.

I know it worked out for Leicester but generally it wouldn't be much better than where we are in the table at the moment. That's my opinion. Gladly be happy to be wrong.

They know how to get results when they are close to relegation. We must stay focused on getting a manager that can get results over a full season and consistently.

I'd settle for a new manager and some creativity in midfield oh and a left winger and maybe a striker and goalie plus a right back and a no nonsense centre back. Hmm looks like we might be needing a rather large war chest this summer after all.
