Hi Ed025, managed to get to town today and met Bob Latchford in Waterstones for his book signing.
What a gent, happy to have a chat, more than happy to have his photo taken with everyone and very polite and genuine, an absolute pleasure to meet him, albeit for a very short period of time.
That's my Christmas present off the kids sorted.
How about you? Did you manage to make it there?

{Ed025's Note - unfortunately not RIB, other commitments have made it difficult for me to get much time out recently but im not giving up on it just yet mate, i have met him before and what you say is spot on..hes a top bloke..
