Fiorentina want Arteta for around 6 mil. Is it not a good call we go for him?

No smeggs it wouldn't be a good call. Arteta was in the past, under RM we are going forward.I doubt he would be welcomed back anyway the way he acts these days with the snidey antics.

£6M (plus wages) for a 32 year old! I don't think so. If he was a free transfer it'd be a different matter, but we can't afford to drain our finances this way. He was great for us in the past, but we've all moved on.

Watching him last season I thought he looked slow and had lost his edge a little also don't think he would now fit in with our style of play now mate, just my view.

Even Arsenal fans don't want him playing for them. Burned his bridges with a Molotov cocktail, going from a hero of Goodison, to just be a spare body in the Arse's midfield. The divvy.

Wow! Only a suggestion guys. Did very little wrong with us in the past. I agree with the fee for a 32 year old though. He has always linked up play well. Played too deep at Arsenal.
