ed reckons we had the best deals and the everton fans are happy with it.im a big everton fan and I might have been happy with lakuku but really are we happy with what we got.KONE(COULDNT HIT A COWS ARSE WITH SHOVEL), ALCARAZ (INJURY PRONE, NOT A DECENT DEFENDER), BARRY A HAS BEEN, MCCARTHY A TOP MIDFIELDER THAT NO OTHER PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB WANTED, let's ALL BE HAPPY.WHAT DO YOU LOT THINK?IS ED RIGHT?OR AM I JUST THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THIS

You're very, very niave if you really think that. Barry is a seasoned pro and will have a solid role in our midfield, he's only 32 hardly a has been. Distan must be a pensioner then going by your standards. Kone hasn't even been given a run or real chance yet and people like you are jumping all over his back shouting he is rubbish. Mcarthey COULD turn out to be one of the best midfielders the league has ever seen. We can't afford to buy Pirlo or Toure so we have to go for a young player and try and nurture him into a future star. How can you be disallusioned with us signing a bright 22 year old who could be the future of the club. Alcaraz is a good defender he has had a lot of bad luck with injuries last season or so but that doesn't mean he is no good. He's a very talented solid centre half and he was free!

People like you are never ever happy. We could of blown 50 million and you would find fault in what we had. Stop being so negative and give them a chance. None of them bar Kone (and he only a bit) have kicked a ball in anger for us yet and you have them wrote off already. You sound like a kopite. Give the players a chance and if you are proved right I will be the first to hold my hands up and say it but I think you'll be surprised

Stop moaning! Fans like you get on my nerves. In the scheme of things I think we have made some good permanent/loan signings. Start excepting that until the day we are bought by a rich arab/russian or we build a 60,000 seater ground we aren't going to have masses of money to spend!

kone was free basically because we sold vic and let's face it kone is much better, barry is a good player and i'm assuming pirlo, xavi and lampard are all god awful has beens too, alcaraz had one bad injury same as mirallas don't mean they are injury prone

You'll be eating those words soon enough. Kone always looks awful early season, he was the same last year and previously at Levante, but when he hits form, he's a handful for anyone.
Alcaraz hasn't had a sniff but is an experienced international defender who provides quality cover.
McCarthy will be an extremely important player for Everton for years to come, wonderfully underrated player. Wait until he comes out of his shell and grows as a man and he will dominate and dictate games. I'm confident he will be one of, if not, the best 'British' midfielders in the game.
You need to get some perspective, who do you think we were going to attract, Gundogan, Xavi, Pirlo?

In fellaini we have lost a defensive midfielder who can pass and score goals. We have replaced him with a very good defenses midfielder, a very good passer of the ball with lots of potential and a forward who could well score 20+ goals for us. Now, I didn't want bobby but add to this a few million in the bank too and this was a great bit of business. Can't wait now for our first match when they can all play.
