Don't want to sound like the grim reaper, but we all need to appreciate that at some point Everton Football Club need to balance the books. Until we get a sugar daddy that treats us like a pet play thing, we are going to have to sell our biggest assets.

We are no different to any business in the world, break even or go out of business.

Where BK goes wrong is with his underhand dealings and lack of communication. He is doing the best he can with a limited budget, but I wish he would man up and speak to us.

People bang on about a bigger stadium but we barely fill the one we have. Granted we will have other sources of income from retailers and conferences etc etc, but it is not going to be he answer to our prayers.

It is us the supporters who pay the players wages and the keep the cogs turning. I hope kenwright realises that if he really pisses us supporters off, we do have a get out clause,
3 or 4 games with 15k supporters in attendance decisions will be taken out of his hands. The vultures will be circling.

Do the right thing bill don't sell to the Mancs, have a whip round between your pals and spend 15 mil and this will be one of our best transfer windows in living memory, especially given we just lost DM.

Sorry for the rant guys, had a few! {Ed025's Note - i wish more would drink, fair post that mate..

We would fill a bigger stadium .loads of fans are put off by obstructed views corporate boxes would easily sell out .the novelty of a big brand new stadium would bring back fans .everton get 36 thousand every week 40 in big games in a stadium that we love but in all honesty is on its arse .dont under estimate evertons fan base and what a new stadium could do .

We have the smallest number of corporate boxes in the league, the obstructed views are minimal. In order to be financially viable we would need an extra 15-20k supporters per game. let's be real it's not going to happen.

I agree we need to live within our means. Our big problem is the levels of debt, we don't seem to have had any business plan to reduce that other than to refinance and repeat the same mistake time after time.
With regards the ground we had the opportunity under PJ to make the park end two tier who was on the board at the time ahem BK! It would have given us more boxes and the capacity to develop other parts of the ground as and when we could afford it.
We went cheap and we're paying a far bigger price now! We've all heard the rumours about the condition of the Park End.
