I've posted on here airing my reservations about signing kone and alcaraz and as a season ticket holder I'm struggling to get excited about these targets. Don't get me wrong I've suffered with all you blues on transfer deadline day and been gutted about our inactivity. But, are we that desperate for bodies that we will take two average players from a relegated club just to beef up the numbers, different story if it's mccarthy, young and ambitious? If so, i'd rather we blood some youngsters? My fellow blues, your thoughts are most welcome. Just my opinion.

IF we sign him, Kone will do well for us. I was impressed with him all last season long before all the change arounds happen. He is a decent player and will give us an extra outlet on something we don't have at the minute and that's pace. Alcaraz will be another Distin I'm absolutely convinced of it. He's going to be great for us {Ed025's Note - before wigan signed him paddo, guys on here were asking why we did,nt sign him, you just cant please some people mate..

I agree with the blooding of our youthplayers but considering they haven't signed yet and no games have been played we won't know if they are any good. for all we know alcaraz could play and be immense for us and kone could bang em in as well as set em up. we just don't know

The ambitious tag is kind of ironic actually, McCarthy seems intent in staying in the Championship. Whilst Koné's actively finding a top tier club and Alcaraz didn't extend his contract in fear of slipping down a division.

Kone is a very good cf strong. runs into channels. holds the ball up well. scores goals. what do you want. better than vic and jelly.
