All this rumour of us getting this lad or that lad is just that. Loans (on small wages) and freebies is just that. Everton are still in deep brown stuff and my opinion will need to sell a couple of players of value.

He hasn't been disappointing rather than having a bit of a shocker. He is full of running and flatters to deceive but just has no end product. He seems to want to smash every cross or shot as hard as possible. He seems to have all the ingredients but clearly this seems a level too far. France would suit him. Definitely time to end loan and to replace with someone else. Who? Got a feeling us and Palace will be resting players and we could somehow end up going through or worse a replay (do they still do replays in FA Cup? ) Neither club could do with a batch of cup games for a tournament neither can ultimately win. Best to get knocked out as our squad can't handle the games.
