If we’re to bring anyone in it really should be right wing and perhaps a creative midfielder. Do we even have a natural right winger since Townsend left? .

Cornet has to be click bait or a smoke screen. Why would we take on someone with an injury record and minimal goals? For me he'd have to play a full season for us to before we take a risk. Plus his wages are high I'm guessing.

He got more assists in 14 games (5) than the majority of our team achieved in a whole season! Certainly has a much better record than the winger from Southampton in the prem and sounds like he would be cheaper so makes sense to me. Plus it was Dyche who signed him for Burnley. Pretty sure he can play through the middle as a a 9 or 10 as well as on the left wing which might encourage some interchanging from our players as Danjuma, McNeil and Harrison are all comfortable switching position too which would hopefully make us less predictable.
