Holgate in talks with Sheffield United, that is good news.

I really hope so mate, he has been nothing short of dreadful for us.

From what I saw it was a loan - not sure that really helps us out as can’t imagine he’d have been on a massive wage with us.

Only way could see it being a positive if it is a loan is if ndiaye coming the other way was somehow linked to it, however can’t see that really happening.

Looks like it is a loan mate.

A loan would still result in a fee and his wages off the books (rumoured to be £1.3 million a year) . It all helps. And he's no good to us in the squad.

Hope Maupay is next out the door, get him off the wage bill.

Problem is they all come back to haunt us at some stage. Question I often think is, what do we do to make them bad, that someone else can undo to make them better. Should we be looking at our coaching set up and standards we apply.

The couple of sites I've looked at have his salary at 70k per week or 3.6 m per year

If we loan him out we will have to subsidise the other club as they won't pay him that

If we try and sell him, again the fee will be reduced so the other club can pay his wage demands. As the new contract will probably run longer than his current contract with us (another 2 years) who knows what the effect will be

Another great decision by someone at Everton giving him 70k.

Not sure where you’ve seen £70k per week, I’ve read he’s on £1.3m a year which equates to £25k per week.

I got it of Spotrac and another site sportspayouts.com had him at 75k

Apparently he was being courted by Man City at the time of getting his new contract

How times have changed since then.
