When you're on News Now please don't even open the click bait articles. They're easy to spot because they start with nonsense like "journo thinks Everton could" "perfect Richarlson replacement agent thinks" "Everton should sign" "Lampards dream target identified" blah blah flipping blah. Utter clap trap. We won't do anything of any note until the last hours of the window. Other than a few more sales, don't expect anything incoming until right up to the deadline. FM is clearly distracted trying to get himself shored up with either a big sale of shares or a full take over. He's not going to spend anything until that's done. FFP is far more serious than most on here seem to think. Just because the daily star claimed we can spend all the Rikky money when we obviously can't. We must think more like the summers under DM. Late loans and small fees for youth. We may well spend some money but I'd be surprised if we spend more than 10m this summer. We can improve from last season but it's not going to be glamorous and it's not going to be initially satisfying. A few uninspiring pros who can and will do a job. I pray for mid table obscurity.

So when we sold Digne and bought Patterson and Mykolenko for roughly the same amount we could do that then but now we've sold Richarlison we can't spend that money! Wonder what's changed or is it just sloppy journalism people read so it must be true then!
