Ed have we been in contact/ discussions with Man Utd over Memphis depay? Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Yes but Manchester United will look to sell and not loan Depay and right now Everton see the associated risk of taking him on and prefer a loan.}

Thanks ed. I think it would be a good move for him. I remember you saying a couple of years ago a move to a abigger club was not a wise move for him and a club like Newcastle at the time would be ideal. I think we would be the ideal club for him and could find his feet again because for some reason some evertonians just love to get on lukaku and Ross's back when lukaku has a amazing goal record for a club like us at this moment in time maybe in 4 5 years we will have a better team and demand more effort rather than just goals but his goals are keeping us up the higher end of the table. Can you see a deal happening for depay with us.

{Ed002's Note - Any move should be a good move but there is a risk and the idea of a loan makes a lot of sense. Certainly a "maybe" as other interested sides only want a loan or are of no interest to him.}
