My personal number one would be Simeone from Ath Madrid. Top class imho. No English though. Chances are very small.

Simone, mourinho n pellegrini I love the optimism but let's get serious they wouldn't consider us, new money but still the same money constraints due to fan coal fair play, were at are limit and that won't change.

mike, would you have said Claudio Ranieri would consider Leicester before he was hired? There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to attract top name managers.

mikedeblue I said 'chances are small' for a reason.

It all depends on situation. Who knows if a top manager will come. Good squad with money to spend. I know not many will agree with this one but I think we are just as attractive as Man Utd.

Our squad is underachieving. With a top manager in with money to spend I have no doubt our ability to get into champions league next season would increase greatly. I'd fancy us to get into top 4 next season with a manager who knows how to to set the team up defensively.

There's no doubt in my mind that it's Martinez that dropped a lot of points for us this season. Some people are questioning are we overrating the team and squad. No way is my opinion. Most people are saying we are underachieving. I totally agree with that.

Ranieri wasn't really a top name manager before this season. He'd been sacked from 3 jobs in 4 years, with the last being the Greek national side. He was out of work. That is different from enticing an acknowledged managerial superstar like Simeone from a club that regularly challenges Barcelona and Real for La Liga, plays every season in the Champions League and are richer than we are. And before someone talks about our billionaire owner - his money is his, not ours. Our club is no richer than it was last month, although thankfully he's promised to invest (not give) some money. All this talk of Mourinho and Simeone will backfire when we (please God) get a new manager who realistically isn't going to be on that level. Whoever it is, we're going to have to get behind them.
