I had to make short my self inflicted exile to report some disturbing news.

I emailed the Director of communication for Everton Football Club. My email was essentially a rant at how the club treat us fans with contempt in terms of their communication and to step it up.

The disturbing thing is the man responsible for our communications emailed me today at 13.51

You would hope he would have more pressing things to do than write me a long email. As much as I appreciated the considered response it did suddenly dawn on me that this is a sign that I guess we won't have too much to communicate today!

I don't genuinely think that fact that he was emailing me has any bearing on anything it was just a bit of fun. Although the fact he kept responding straight away did then make me think he can't be too busy.
I did tell him to get back to work on the press release for our big deadline day signing, he replied will do.
Not holding my breath though!
