Hope Martinez is not putting all is hopes on Lukaku, because now he said he wants to stay at Chelsea, time to move on now I think, and if he has 25 mill to spend on a striker I'm sure he could pick up a quality one for that sort of cash but I really think it's time we forget about signing Lukaku he seems he'll bent on staying at Chelsea.Plenty more fish in the sea Bobby.

Yer I seen that myself Stef. Think you're spot on I don't think he's interested and if that's the case. See you Romelu and let's get somone else in. He's also never thanked the fans spoke well of the club. All's he's said is we've made him a better player. All about himself by the looks of it. I may be wrong like but I doubt it

Yes he did thank the fansn and the club, players etc. End of the day he was never our player so I wish him well, its not like he done dirty on us he was always here just for 1 season

I'm not slagging him Rushjohn just stating he doesn't really look interested in joining us. If he thanked us I missed it. I also wish him well in his next chapter your spot on when u say it was only ever for a season to begin with.

What's Lukaku meant to say?
If there was any chance that we could afford his permanent transfer - and if Chelsea were prepared to transfer him to us and if he wanted to play for us (without Champions League football - at present) - then he could be more enthusiastic about us, but he (and his agent) have to be very careful about what they say this summer - especially considering the fallout with Mourinho about what was said last summer.

He's not actually that good though is he - so he's in for a disappointment - because he's not a top champs league player like Chelsea need

He finishes quite well and he's big n strong and can barge his way past players but his approach play, distribution and decision making are poor - and this ain't going to change

So he's going to get left on the bench by Jose and end up unhappy

I agree with Latchfordlad. Big and strong with thought and technique a little short. Bony would be Schweet. Bony may want the the first choice in our squad than squading for Arsenal. Liverpool have filled the gap and Chelsea will get Costa. Wellbeck, Adebayor, a loan deal for a man City man or even try Barkley in that position?
