Well we are going up in the world. It used to be teams like Stoke or West Ham who waited to see who we wanted to recruit and now it is Arsenal. Still we will have to wait and see what Parez is like, as ed002 has said "caveat emptor".

I don't understand why we aren't more pro active on another striker, I'm very happy with RM additions so far, have you any info on anyone we are seriously intrested and why we haven't put in any offers, is it due to waiting to get rid of a few players first .

Ed I know it's been reported in the press today that Kone wants to stay at Sunderland but do you think there's a chance he's on his way to Everton? Also would like to see a creative midfielder come in. Do you know of any players the club may be looking at in that area?

Ed are we interested in William Carvalho? I think this would be a great signing. Portugal looked hard to beat in the euros apart from the iceland game haha. I think this guy looks solid. what's your thoughts?

Ed what's our problem when it comes to signing players? Other clubs get deals done without any hassles yet we are linked with loads of players but never sign anyone? Also is there a problem with our scouting staff? Other teams are picking up some great players on the cheap. I for one will be gutted if we sign Lennon. He's not good enough for Everton.
{Ed025's Note - the problem with everton wrighty is and will always be money, we just wont go that extra mile with payet being a prime example, we were in the box seat then walked away when wages hit the £70,000 mark, other clubs seem to take the gamble but we dont mate, you may call it sensible or naive but thats just the way it is im afraid..

I've heard a few rumours that we may be after Scott dann? How true this is I don't know however I think he is a decent player. I think some fans think that we are all out to get Messi now especially as we have a bit of dosh. We need to be realistic still blues.

In this case I'd be more inclined to blame the selling club rather than whoever is negotiating. Kiev have messed other clubs around when they have put in a bid for this player, if I remember right Liverpool met his buy out clause a year or so ago but still never got their man.

Be interesting to know if we had drawn or lost all our games this season fans would be so understanding about not bringing in quality players. It's a marathon not a sprint. I just hope we don't get injuries to our top players and lukaku pulls his finger out.

Totally agree with you but may be good for us in the long term. It's only a loan deal. Little concerned it may leave us short in that area though.

If he does stay he's got a lot of convincing some evertonians it's a good move for the club. Let's hope he looks more interested this year. He's still along way off the finished article if you ask me!
