I've just gone through the television money and premier league prize money list. Add it all up and Everton are due £89.7million.
Each place up the table gets £1.2m from the premier league. The other money is shared out fairly evenly with TV appearance fees the only inconstant.

1.) Yeah but it was about 68 million last season so it is an icrease of about 20 odd million 30 at a push so the only difference this summer to others is we won't have to sell to generate money. Our budget for transfers will be about 25 - 30 million.

2.) Would the increase in budgets for the premier league as a whole just inflate transfer prices as everyone can afford more so makes higher bids? Maybe just for the premiership to premiership transfers

3.) BlueClarkey, players agents are not stupid, expect many existing players to ask for pay rises, this eats in to funds as well mate. 25 man squad, everyone asks for 2k a week more. that's 50k a week more which equates to. 2, 600,000 million out of the transfer budget. Factor in the likes of Barkley and Stones probably getting about 20k a week more than currently and it becomes about 3-3.5 million.

4.) I think the time is right for Pienaar to be moved on, he is picking up at least 40/50k a week and that could be redistributed to Stones/Barkley new deals.

I agree to a point Ed in as much as if he wants to go, let him go. The boy has made no secret of his intentions and has been straight up with club and supporters. Now it's time for EFC to be staight up with any prospective suitors, it's £100m or he doesn't go. Never mind "This is the starting price" let's go on from there, take it or leave it.
Pogba went for £89m and he doesn't score goals so £100m for Rom seems about right.

{Ed025's Note - in todays market its not that outlandish mike, goalscorers are the holy grail and say what you like about his overall game but the guy does know where the net is mate..

For those of you who believe in stats, only De Gea is better than Robles on present form. The kind of performances that Robles has been putting in aren't because he's lucky, it's because he's capable of them. Couple that with the probability that he's better than Heaton and it would seem logical to keep Robles in the side and buy a No2.

Don't anyone believe that there'll be no activity during the Euros. The very idea that managers, chairmen, and agents will be sitting on their arses for three weeks is ludicrous.
There will be plenty going on, and deals, all bar the signature will be concluded.

Maybe if Villa had played him a bit more they would have fared a bit better. As for being crap, he still plays for England U21's putting in good performances and scoring goals.
He's a good player and would possibly be a good signing, but like others I fail to see how we can be linked with players when we have no manager or chief scout.

Absolutely spot on Mike. Just bookies drumming up custom to boost their profits by installing false favourites.
