When England U20s won the World Cup in the summer, questions were asked about how many of that squad would get first team football in the near future. Well, the 5 Everton boys are certainly doing well - Kenny and DCL are first team regulars whilst Lookman is now beginning to get more game time. Away from Goodison, Dowell is playing well at Forest and Connelly is now a regular at Ipswich. Add Pickford, Davies and Holgate to that group and Everton are certainly doing their bit for England.

Yes we should be proud of our youngsters. Just finished reading a report of yesterdays game on ESPN about the aftermath of Kenny's tackle and it read.
"The subsequent melee also showed a group of young players unafraid to back each other up, as Tom Davies, Mason Holgate and Calvert-Lewin all rushed to Kenny's aid. These same players often make a concerted effort to acknowledge the fans at the end of matches. Able to mix the rough with the smooth while appreciating the fortunate position they are in, the kids are alright at Everton. "

Very arrogant Ed 002 if you don’t mind me saying so. Perhaps you should get out more and meet more Everton supporters - you might be surprised.

Silva had to go. Some of his decision making was terrible but I think he was also a bit unlucky. The Club failed to get him an experienced striker and centre half and he has been without Gbamin, Gomes and Delph for most of the season. That midfield would have made a huge difference last night.

I was following the game on BBC on-line. From the kick-off, they said Spurs were targeting Everton's left flank. We all know that Martina is weak (even though he is playing out of position) but with Sigurdsson in front of him, he has very little protection. Surely our management should have seen this and altered our set-up? Spurs first goal came from problems down this flank.
