Ssn reporting we are looking to appoint portugese coach vitor Pereira. looks like lessons have not been learnt to me if that's the case.

1.) 05 Dec 2019 22:03:27
And his wife is called Fátima Silva!

2.) 05 Dec 2019 22:12:58
Wanted him before Martinez (2013/ 4) I think. But don’t know what he has done since Porto as he got 1860 relegated. It’s a gamble a real gamble if true but I will say this . Premier League experienced managers haven’t worked for us so far 🤷🏼‍♂️.

3.) 05 Dec 2019 22:54:15
Do you think we’re just going to keep employing Portuguese managers until we stumble across the next Jose mourinho?

4.) 06 Dec 2019 03:38:49
I think whoever is next manager whether its moyes Eddie Howe or benitez we have get behind them in my 30 years following the blues even am arguing with my younger brother about Everton's next manager and shouldn't be the case at all but hopefully big Dunc can give players kick up the ass the weekend and try get 3 points and I have no doubt he will be more passionate on sidelines then silva and boa morte put together COYB.

5.) 06 Dec 2019 08:49:24
I thought having been at a relegated side was part of the application criteria? Am i missing something?

6.) 06 Dec 2019 09:34:08
He got relegated in Germany.

7.) 06 Dec 2019 09:46:18
Blu Silva was not a Premier League experienced.

8.) 06 Dec 2019 10:01:49
Looking at his career he doesn't seem to stay very long in any one place. So ideal for us.

9.) 06 Dec 2019 10:11:50
On a plus note moyes no longer favourite in the betting.

10.) 06 Dec 2019 11:07:09
There is a time to gamble and a time to play safe, for me this is not a time to gamble.

11.) 06 Dec 2019 13:11:12
Quite right DC. Moyes would be a huge gamble!

12.) 06 Dec 2019 14:15:39
listen said it previously, its not the time to panic and make a safe bet, i know we're in the bottom three but 2 wins we're back mid table and wondering whatever the issue was, was the same when got got allardyce and everyone was fuming saying we were never really in danger so why did we get him, this is the same principle with moyes, learn from leicester get the manager you want and you can see leading the club out next season as well as this, give the manager 6 months to get to grips with this squad and move on next season.

13.) 06 Dec 2019 15:21:16
The fact Moyes hasn't got the job already shows he isn't wanted by the board.
I think we might let Dunc run with it and if the results come in then appoint in the summer.

14.) 06 Dec 2019 15:49:37
Oh Noble Knight Smit, one speaks wise words of wisdom which brings much joy to my aching heart. May the humps on your camel be plentiful in water for the journey ahead that we face. Does one foresee a result for tomorrow?

15.) 06 Dec 2019 17:50:00
I can see us winning tomorrow mate. I'm going 2-0.

16.) 06 Dec 2019 19:39:18
One has put a few Shekels on for 2-0 :-)

29 Jul 2019 20:06:47
Was it under Martinez we signed the ghost called Onyekuru? What a total waste of money and time this kid has been . I'm not up to date until tonight about his present situation because everytime you hear anything about him it's always the same . another work permit denied once again I hear honestly, whoever done or not done there homework on him need shooting as if we haven't got enough dead wood.

jimmyc65

1.) 29 Jul 2019 20:15:40
But surely it's not that bad we should still make a profit on him should we sell him yes its bot ideal as we haven't seen him play for us but if we can sign a player then sell for a profit to help fund other deals I'd say that's not a bad way to go about business since he signed he's been on loan so I'd guess most of his wages have been paid we may have got loan fees and then if we sell for a profit win win.

{Ed002's Note - That is not really how transfers work.}

2.) 29 Jul 2019 20:16:57
You can blame Walsh and Koeman for that.

3.) 29 Jul 2019 20:21:40
paid 7 mill for him mate sent him out on loan so others pais the majority of his wages an will look to get 20 plus mill better than paying the money getting him to sit in the reserves for a few seasons an selling him for a loss like we have with tarasaj and countless others.

4.) 29 Jul 2019 23:24:46
Agreed CW, won’t lose a penny on him. 7mil is small fry in today’s premier league football market. Cenk Tosun, Davy Klassen, now that’s a bottom line loss that people should be held accountable for. oh year they where! 👀.

I was one of the lucky 2000 at the game last night. I thought every single player put a good shift in working tirelessly to keep chelsea at arms length and achieve the win we fully deserved.

I've been reading different sites today and I'm amazed that some fans are being so negative in particularly about doucoure. Not one of them players last night deserve any criticism or negative comments said about them.

I watched the game back this morning and I'll standby what I've just said. One more point, steve macmanaman what's the point? . commentates like he's talking to a classroom full of 4yr olds. Most annoying prick on telly.

1.) 13 Dec 2020 16:10:59
A clean sheet and a win. what's to moan about?
We will need as much intensity and some against Leicester but the bar has been set. If we're run off the park by Leicester who, have had a very busy schedule then we will never get anywhere.

2.) 13 Dec 2020 15:31:49
Spot on Jimmy, good performance by all the players.

3.) 14 Dec 2020 08:03:37
They all played a level above their recent performances their drive and energy levels were up! Which was great to see, made my weekend, Probably because Carlo picked a team where players were playing in their natural positions, point to mention was the pace shown by Godfrey, a great asset
All we need now is for Richarlison to play with a smile on his face that means scoring goals.

26 Jul 2020 19:17:28
We've got the best manager in world football in charge of our club I know there's a load of deadwood to offload and ffp will have a big impact on our dealings in and out. But if this board don't back carlo to the hilt after all that what's the point in appointing him . You can't polish a turd.

I was watching our game on motd last night through one eye after a few don revies I started laughing to myself watching oumar niasse, he runs around and plays football like someone has threw a quilt over his head. Sorry fellas just a bit of lightheartedness.

jimmyc65

1.) 19 Jan 2020 13:03:29
The fact that he’s still at the club and was brought on makes me think the guys running the club might also have a quilt over their head lol.

For me that really hit home just how bad the squad situation is. And I honestly don’t see how it can be changed quickly tbh.

2.) 19 Jan 2020 13:51:40
Yeah it's worrying, so many injuries and senior players who just don't cut it. I can't see any incoming players in this window. But at least when we get players back from injuries it will be like new signings.

3.) 19 Jan 2020 15:00:55
Loan tosun out and he scores, niasse refuses loans and is now our only back up. Grim.

4.) 19 Jan 2020 18:07:45
As long as we are putting Niasse on the bench he will refuse all loans from Championship teams.

Bit baffling we want rid yet we give him a game, best keeping the guy out of view of potential suitors or he will be with us until his contract runs out.

5.) 19 Jan 2020 18:35:58
I thought that big Nev. We want him gone yet he's in the squad and getting game time on a bigger wage than he'd get anywhere else. Where's the incentive for him to leave? Baffling.

6.) 19 Jan 2020 19:07:00
No one who plays Palace put bodies behind the ball. Teams do for us. So it's a bit easier for a striker at one of those teams. We all saw enough of Tosun to know he knows where the goal is but was always half a second too slow to react, run and stick a toe out. Also he's lost some more hair so maybe he's sped up fractionally.

20 Dec 2019 23:17:41
I asked why do the media dislike everton so much? I've just read Darren lewis saying ferguson should be given the job ahead of ancelotti then I read lawrenson saying Ancelotti he's not the right man for us. plus your other no Mark's on talk rubbish saying the same thing . what is it with these people?

Reccuring theme here everyone who's being negative towards us is a red. how dare everton appoint the most successful manager in europe that's available. What are they scared off?

jimmyc65

1.) 21 Dec 2019 03:30:55
To be fair Jimmy, I think the question marks around Ancelotti’s suitability for Everton are justified when you take into account his track record of managing clubs. Generally he manages elite level sides, he stays for one or two years before moving on and he is getting older. I really hope it works out for us but I can see why there are questions around him. It’s not the obvious appointment.

2.) 21 Dec 2019 08:43:37
Its utter tosh. For some idiotic, stupid reason people think that top level managers can only manage top teams and rubbish managers manage rubbish teams.

Utter garbage. Great managers make great teams, crap managers make crap teams. Everton have been testament to that for the past 25 years. It's time we start realising that we will only challenge the big boys by having quality from top to bottom.

3.) 21 Dec 2019 15:57:20
And the award for most common sense post of the year goes to BlueJohn. Hit the nail right on the head with that one mate.

07 Dec 2019 10:08:14
All well and good throwing a list of names out who we are potentially being linked with. Forget ancelotti. forget pochettino. forget ten haag. Not one of them managers wouldn't ruin there reputations in taking the poison chalice of managing everton. Who could blame them the way the clubs being run. Personally I think the names mentioned are being used as a smokescreen before the inevitable happens we'll end up with moyes again .

jimmyc65

1.) 07 Dec 2019 11:40:25
I get what your saying Jimmy but why would you use those names as a smokescreen?

2.) 07 Dec 2019 16:27:21
Ther'e the names that are being bandied around smitt. What I'm saying is are they really being thought of about managing our club or is the club or whoever just putting the names out there to make it look like we're trying to attract the big names while all along they've got moyes lined up already I don't know mate but that's how it's got me feeling hope I'm wrong really I do. Back to today mate it was great to see the commitment and passion from us today chelsea where the better footballing team but the effort and commitment plus a rub of the green we got with the 3rd goal which we never get was well deserved and we deserved the win. Duncan showed more passion today in the first 5 mins than silva showed in 18 months on that touchline today . The players actually played for the manager who lead by example.

Apart from a few, the players in our squad have now played under 4 different managers over the last few years and have repeatedly turned in the kind of performances we witnessed yesterday. Now if 4 different managers can't get a tune out of these players where does the blame squarely lie?

Agree with that dunc. how can anyone question moshiri this time for appointing Ancelotti? A top top a list manager the best out there available been there done it worn the t shirt got the dvds the type of manager that everyone seemingly has been crying out for since moshiri and his money rocked up at everton. Forget how much money he's going to earn who's bothered we joe public are not paying his wages it's not coming out of my pocket I don't give a toss about what he's earning. As ancelotti says "it's not going to happen overnight" and it's not. If the whole thing goes tits up nobody in there right mind can question moshiri on this appointment. he's gone for the best this time, what people have been asking from him since he came in . and in my opinion the fact ancelotti has signed a long term contract says to me moshiri has decided enoughs enough you're here and here for the long run no matter what. take this project on and build it.

You're reading it wrong mate as I also replied to pig head honcho and at the end of the reply i said we're talking hypertheticaly. I never said I'd take any of the names mentioned over Ancelotti or neither did I imply I would. Anyway it's gone now mucker forget about it save our time and energy concentrating on the team for sundays game.

Meaning if it came down to dyche or howe who bluetit mentioned and if they where the options you may as well throw wilder into the mix I'd rather take a chance on him go and look up his managerial record far better than the other 2. Not once did I say I'd have him as the manager. We're talking hypertheticaly.
