Delph signed. Good bit of business will add leadership, experience and versatility.

Good bit of business - that I would agree with, not his biggest fan as a player but in terms of business 8-10mil is small change for a 30yr old English prem winner but. and I say but. it’s going to be interesting to see the knock on effect of this deal as he is not a likenfpr like replacement for Gana at all, more Tom Davies for me!

Really pleased with this signing, top player best sighning for a very long time.

Very good signing, a leader, experienced, title winner, versatile, professional, role model and a damn fine footballer- all that for £8.5mil. wonderful stuff.

Have to agree with ed. Bit of an anti climax, but overall been a good window, yes we're prob a bit light in some areas but across the first team and 23s we've shipped out 25 or more players got some quality in. Will be the best of the rest with a chance of top 6 if one of them has a poor season. Roll on Saturday.

Totally agree GB. Can only reiterate what ed has said. Both failed to take their opportunity, full backs were poor. We were unable to break down a dire team and looked really slow and predictable in our build up play. Credit Newcastle, they came with a plan and went away with what they came for, but we have to win these games if we want to challenge. Definitely need a striker who fits the way we play, really hoped that would be Tosun but i don't think it is. Cannot afford anything but a win against Watford. 2 points dropped definitely.

Got to agree with that, not usually a fan of loans, but if they can improve the team as either of those two would then I'm all for it. It would give Brilva (apologies bad mash up) more time to identify and recruit players for the long term.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely george..
