Not to alarm anyone but rumours are that youngs been offered a one year deal.

Tranmere blue

{Ed025's Note - lets hope that its just a rumour TB, as i have said...i will judge Moyes more on the players he keeps rather than the ones he brings in mate..

1.) 16 May 2025 07:16:40
That’s hopefully a windup. Moyes has barely played him and mentioned he was forced to play him against Fulham which sounds like he’s not in his plans.

2.) 16 May 2025 08:25:46
can't all be done in one window, Young has proven this year he's great around the squad and depth option

can't spend well on every single position in one window and buy depth options on top of that

it's a squad option, not a starter.

the question you ask for me is the more adequate depth they have, the more room there is to spend on huge first 11 needs (ATTACK)

3.) 16 May 2025 09:03:52
I'd welcome his experience around the coaching staff for sure and I'm sure he's done his badges. Him and Bainse are exactly the sorts we want around the place, wearing tracksuits and body warmers.

4.) 16 May 2025 09:24:55
Tbh gents, I read this last night and pondered over this.

I actually don't mind if we keep him. It will be a short deal and he won't be on stupid money. The reason I think it would be good to keep him is that he will be good to have in the dressing room. He keeps standards high and by all accounts is extremely professional.

That being said, I don't want him to play any more than the last few mins of a game that has already been put to be, lower league cup games or as a last resort if we get splattered by injuries and lose 1st/ 2nd choice players in the respective position he fills in for.

5.) 16 May 2025 10:27:58
Patterson going - if Branthwaite goes - O’Brien into centre back - leaves us with no right backs presuming Coleman retires
We have a very poor squad - if Keane goes we are left with only x2 centre backs (if Branthwaite goes) - so can see how young may have to stay.
That’s before we address left back, midfield and a striker ?
8 incomings I reckon (mixture of signed and loans)

Bollard from Sunderland?

6.) 16 May 2025 11:42:14
You can't get rid of 12 out of contract players in one go, also we can't afford to then bring in 12 players to cover the 12 that left, then add more players to the very small squad we have, some players need to be kept around and next year they can leave and we replace them then, small steps, not Huge mistakes like last time.

7.) 16 May 2025 21:54:40
He can do a few jobs so one I would keep hold of, as long as on reduced terms.

8.) 16 May 2025 22:39:31
We should know some signings before Sunday. I reckon Coleman will get 12 months based on what Moyes has said.

9.) 17 May 2025 17:20:46
Well your sources were wrong.

02 Feb 2025 17:48:31
Found out a couple of things about Beto today, he's a boyhood blue and used to call himself Beto'o and apparently he's there fastest player in our squad, so why have we been hitting it high and long all season?

Tranmere blue

1.) 02 Feb 2025 17:54:56
For answers to things like this…. drop Dyche a call.

2.) 02 Feb 2025 18:25:14
I'm thinking we're going to see what betos all about now we're starting to play football that includes getting service to the front men reckon he will get 15 between now and end of season.

3.) 02 Feb 2025 19:43:30
Goal a game? that'd be welcome. You sticking a bet on?

4.) 02 Feb 2025 19:44:43
Don’t forget: he scored twice against a poor Leicester side. 10-15 between now and the end of the season? If he gets 5-8 more he’ll have done well.

21 Jan 2025 14:52:48
5 wins and we're safe, watched mnf last night and carragher made a point Leicester Southampton aren't getting over 36 points and I doubt Ipswich will, Moyes will have us sat around 13th end of season.

Tranmere blue

1.) 21 Jan 2025 15:56:23
Steady on, just take it one week at a time

Spurs game whilst great, Spurs were absolutely all over the place at the back.

2.) 21 Jan 2025 16:03:19
Spurs and Man U are getting dragged in as well mate.

3.) 21 Jan 2025 19:37:57
Let’s not count chickens. Let’s just get ourselves safe and focus on sitting out out team. Whatever happens to spurs or Utd is their fate. As long as we are safe, I don’t care much for other teams.

4.) 21 Jan 2025 20:13:02
I'd of rather it was just one more win, 5 sounds a lot in the position we are in at the moment.

16 Jan 2025 20:51:13
Fabrice Hawkins saying we have agreed a 20 million fee with Lyon for nuamah

Chelsea want broja wages paid in full if we terminate loan.

Tranmere blue

1.) 16 Jan 2025 21:59:10
Worth the hit to be able to get someone else in.

2.) 16 Jan 2025 22:10:27
Think that is in Euro's mate so would be more like £16/ 17 million. Sounds much better than the initial reports of £25.

The lad clearly has pace to burn but his numbers don't fill me with great hope and after all that is in the French League where a 33 year old Lacazette is made to look like primer R9.

Guess anything is better than Harrison tbf.

3.) 17 Jan 2025 10:12:44
Couple of clubs interested, so that's us out.

4.) 17 Jan 2025 15:31:50
I hope it is us out. Worse Adama Traore.

5.) 17 Jan 2025 19:24:58
Bargain at 25 quid BN I'd say mate!

11 Jan 2025 17:58:00
The same lad who told me about Moyes joining and then the cresswell links seems to think we will play 541 under Moyes, make of that what you will.

Tranmere blue

1.) 11 Jan 2025 18:34:57
I think we will seemore of Patterson at RB/ RWB. We know Moyeslikes his full backs to overlap and get crosses in. And Patterson does seem good crosser of the ball.

2.) 11 Jan 2025 18:56:58
Think Coleman and Baines, their overlapping was what made so effective.
Obvs Patterson and Myko bit way off them mind.

3.) 11 Jan 2025 18:57:29
But I think Patterson in particular can improve alot.

4.) 11 Jan 2025 19:23:58
I can’t see myko playing much under Moyes agree wiry with the Patterson sentiment.

5.) 11 Jan 2025 20:39:34
He shouldn’t, sorry to say he’s just not good enough.

6.) 12 Jan 2025 03:04:48
I don't get the Myko hate, obviously he's no Baines but he's better than dingey.

7.) 12 Jan 2025 08:11:10
Def3nsively he might be better than Digne, going forward nowhere near and overall nowhere near.

8.) 12 Jan 2025 08:56:43
From Baines to Digne to Micky. There’s a pattern of decline in quality. That needs addressing quickly.

The reform voters will still be writing Beto off.

Tranmere blue

1.) 10 May 2025 16:50:35
Careful TB you’ll upset a few with that comment.

Got a feeling doesn’t matter how many Beto scores there’ll be those that say he’s rubbish and want rid of him.

2.) 10 May 2025 17:07:16
Ridiculous post! What has politics got to do with fans opinions on a footballer? Strange.

3.) 10 May 2025 17:51:53
So childish, dan, what happened to everyone is entitled to their opinion like you were spouting the other day?
If you think his overall performance was good enough then I'm afraid there is nothing I can say to you. He scored, happy days as when we score it helps us wins games. Fair play to him, a lot of luck from a piss poor shot but it went in. I notice you never mention him falling over, losing possession, loose passes, lame efforts etc. Strange as the stats for all of them must be through the roof and we all know you prefer stats over watching a player.

4.) 10 May 2025 17:52:32
Not saying beto is the answer but I've always liked him. He's not had a full season and has now bagged 8! I would love him to stay but still think we need another striker! Taking into account the amount of players out of contract and the fact we don't have billions of pounds available in the summer I really don't see how we can afford to let him go.
I'd have probably kept dacoure for similar reasons but only if he agreed reduced terms which he doesn't seem to be prepared to do.
Think Harrison Armstrong should be playing off the bench for us next season.
Hopefully will only need 3 or 4 signings then.

5.) 10 May 2025 18:06:28
He got a goal but up to then he was truly awful as were Doucoure, Harrison and Garner, first half was pooor but subs second changed all that Ndiaye was excellent.

6.) 10 May 2025 18:18:16
Opinions think that’s the word you use constantly good mate.

7.) 10 May 2025 18:42:19
Not sure how my post was childish BP?

Genuinely feel that some fans will not change their opinion on Beto regardless of how many goals he scores - that’s not childish it’s an opinion.

You don’t like him and that’s fair enough.

But when fans complain we don’t score goals and then are happy to move a player on who scores goals makes little sense to me.

Is he a complete player - no.
Does he play amazingly every game - no.
Does he look clumsy - yes.
Opposition players find it awkward playing against him - yes.
Does he work hard each game - yes.
Does he score - yes.
Do we need goals in the team - yes.

There’s enough there regardless of stats that makes me want us to keep him.

Genuinely feel with better service and playing in a front 2 he’d be even better for us.

However also aware some fans don’t want that to happen.

With a challenging window ahead I don’t think centre forward area is the most pressing area to be addressed.

If he goes to Leeds with the attacking players they have I wouldn’t be surprised if he got 15+ goals for them.

However all a matter of opinions and will be interesting to see what happens with him.

8.) 10 May 2025 20:27:22
I was just joking bp, didn’t really mean anything by it other than a bit of a wind up no offence intended.

9.) 11 May 2025 06:56:47
Not a Beto fan but he’s scoring and although don’t think he should be number 1 striker - I think he’s a decent sub to come on.
He leaves it all out there and seems a decent bloke - my opinion would him is turning (slightly ?)

10.) 11 May 2025 12:48:57
Hd, i found the first line to be childish as you're just baiting people that you know don't think Beto is our star striker.
TB, no worries mate I got the wrong end of the stick on your post, thought you was making out that disliking beto as a player had something to do with race. My bad mate, apologies for the wrong interpretation.

Tranmere blue

Nunez gets booked and blatantly tells ref to fuck off, jota also swearing at officials both should be second yellows.

Tranmere blue

1.) 02 Apr 2025 22:09:15
Agree TB!
At last a poster who saw the game!
Honestly, no wonder their home record is so good! Opposition plays their 11 and subs PLUS refs, VARs, biased ignorant (mainly Norwegian not Scouse) crowd, commentators and their pundits (Gary Joke Neville and hang your head in shame Bug Dunc) !
Tarks had to play ball so obviously their goal
Offside but surprise it’s given ( imagine at Goodison if we’d have got that! )
They constantly argued against decisions and knocked ball away even biased Sky commentators said but ref ignored.

2.) 02 Apr 2025 22:09:27
To be fair you should have been down to 10 men in the first 20 and if you’re scraping the barrel for second yellows that much betos judo kick on Kelleher would probably be more deserving for a second one.

You played decent first half and got lucky it was only 1.0 over the game. Sometimes you jsut have to take it on the chin mate.

3.) 02 Apr 2025 22:11:32
Tarkowski? hmmm.

4.) 02 Apr 2025 22:25:53
Was good tackle carragher made a career on them.

5.) 02 Apr 2025 22:30:18
dont be silly.

6.) 02 Apr 2025 22:42:36
I don't think it that bad it follow through from clearance. Carragher literally made his career on them same with Gerrard.

7.) 02 Apr 2025 23:24:04
From the pictures I’ve seen, looks a red to me. He was lucky to be in the pitch.

Statistically, I’m sure Liverpool have not benefited any more than any other club over the season. We all have our gripes with decisions and VAR. We can only hope we get more luck in the future.

8.) 03 Apr 2025 04:37:50
Sorry but rules are rules it’s dissent and both were yellow cards just shows the bias towards big clubs, give decisions when it suits.

9.) 03 Apr 2025 12:35:16
Mad how the 2 reds commenting on our pages haven't actually posted on their own page anything to do with the game last night. And they call us bitter? Sad people.

10.) 03 Apr 2025 13:15:59
Beto kicked the ball away at a throw in and got booked. Nunez did the same and nothing.
Corners their players are not even looking at the ball and are blatantly grabbing the opposition player. Nothing given.

02 Apr 2025 19:49:54
Confident now I've seen the team sheets, we get a goal and watch them get nervous. I'm sure Moyes had a plan for jones at rb, plus he's never beaten them, law of averages suggests that isn't far away.

Tranmere blue

1.) 02 Apr 2025 20:25:08
Easy when u support Tranmere!
Only joking TB, I like the T too, often watching as a kid as I went to school in Birkenhead.
Pray your right though!

2.) 02 Apr 2025 21:37:08
The joys of growing up in Birkenhead to a blue dad I guess, yes I’m one of them weird kids who support two teams.

3.) 02 Apr 2025 23:22:48
I remember listening to radio when Latchford got to 30 first with my best Everton bud who went on to be a Tranmere fan going to game after game at Prenton Park because it was near his house.
Good luck to all Tranmere fans especially most who still support their team through (mostly) thick and thin but still have a soft spot for the Blues!

Don’t believe everything you see on the internet, Moyes strongest asset is his eye for a player, pienaar cahill yobo the list goes on and on even soucek and coufal at West Ham all relatively unknown. Let’s wait until we actually see the signings he makes before judging?

Moyes said himself we have an interest it’s just wether we can agree terms, he’s probably keeping his options open until end of window, didn’t he pull out of a move on the last window? Spurs I think.

I didn’t rate him until I seen him live myself albeit against Doncaster and Tranmere, not the highest measuring stick I know but he ran both defences raggged and at the end of the Tranmere game he ended up coming deep grabbing the ball and basicrunnng through the defence twice by himself and scoring the equaliser and the winner, he’s a top player just looks unorthodox because he’s gangly.

I think the owners have plenty of money br it’s just a case of wiggling around psr restrictions which allows us to and keep the stadium as well as giving the girls their own ground, win win.
