Take him he's a headless chicken.

Does any eds know if it's true dusan tadic is demanding a move to everton. Apparently friends of his are claiming this for a reported 10m. I'm sure I read somewhere recently he'd signed a new contract but I could be wrong. Decent player though.

Toffee time

{Ed001's Note - not true, and he has signed a new contract.}

1.) 16 Aug 2016 15:06:36
Thanks, there's some shocking rumours flying about at the moment.

2.) 16 Aug 2016 15:56:21
There is. even a rumour about us after mangala from city. hope not as he is shocking.

3.) 16 Aug 2016 16:01:58
Would be a good signing, but not happening.

4.) 16 Aug 2016 19:00:09
He allegedly fell out with Koeman at Southampton too and was hoping for a move this summer until Koeman left.

08 Aug 2016 11:26:28
I'd definitely take Nasri, according to ssn citeh will listen to offers. I'd take him and bony, plus 20m for stones. If we could get iheanacho on loan too that's be great but I guess he'll be in peps plans and you can't blame him. I just really don't want Hart. I'll put my bottom dollar well end up with him in part ex. Mata will surely be coming to us now, why would he stay after mourinho made a fool of him yesterday. I'd like to see a bid put in for strootman from Roma. Martin's indi looks nailed on now after he hopped on a plane and won't be returning to Portugal. A. Williams apparently wants the move to us, however I don't think it'll be in the next week or so. I'd like us to put a bid of around 25m in for Fraser forster, wetherspoons koeman/ everton have an 'agreement' not to raid Southampton. they're a selling club and money talks. Coyb.

Toffee time

1.) 08 Aug 2016 12:43:25
Nasri is class only issue is he is abit injury prone and he has bad attitude problems, I think Mata has to be number 1 target we need creativity.

{Ed001's Note - he came back massively overweight after a summer break. Seriously worry about a footballer on the kind of money he is that hasn't the sense to keep an eye on their weight. How dumb do you have to be to not think to check yourself on the scales every so often? Hell he could afford to pay someone to check for him!}

2.) 08 Aug 2016 12:47:03
I like your thinking TT, its time to make some decisons on the players we have and the ones we need! Look at what Swansea did at the weekend!

3.) 08 Aug 2016 13:09:20
Was he as big as when we signed Mcgeedy Ed., or is that pushing it a bit, suprised, I always liked Nasri.

{Ed001's Note - I seem to remember being told he was over a stone too heavy. In fact they said it was easily visible with the naked eye on a quick glance that he was well overweight.}

4.) 08 Aug 2016 13:30:43
He could quickly lose the weight with training and the correct diet. He could have been comfort eating from being left out of the France squad because dechamps despises him or the fact France lost the final. We need strength in depth and he would certainly add that.

{Ed001's Note - the issue is not losing the weight, it is the fact he put it on in the first place. It shows a lack of self-discipline and intelligence plus motivation.}

5.) 08 Aug 2016 13:47:56
So glad I'm not a footy player then,
just got back from 2 weeks all inclusive in Spain.
enough said.

6.) 08 Aug 2016 14:12:57
Wouldn't want Nasri, no chance of Mata.

We need a keeper badly, that has to be the priority.

7.) 08 Aug 2016 14:34:37
Don't want nasri has a bad attitude and I've never really rated him. Can't see what he would add to our squad. Would have bony think he be a good striker if we play two up front. Good at holding the ball up. Don't want Forster. Think he looks edgy and wouldn't fill our defence with confidence. Watched him play for England not so long ago and looked poor. Don't want hart either. Again overrated thinks he's better than he is. Maya would be a good signing and Ashley Williams. Not seen anything of the Dutch fella so can't comment on him. Just hope we get some good players in soon.

8.) 08 Aug 2016 14:39:47
Forever in blue. I presume your not paid over 100k a week to play a sport for which it is highly important you are at your peak physical state. If you are, hats off to you!

9.) 08 Aug 2016 15:42:05
to old, to overpaid, to much of a luxury and as ed001 points out no self discipline, not really RK's type as he already thinks we're to soft!

10.) 08 Aug 2016 15:44:37
To even mention Strootman is madness, he'ss seen as much football as Darren Gibson, Nasri fat, seriously wonder if anyone looks up these players or just picks them out of Panini sticker book.

11.) 08 Aug 2016 18:11:49
Nasri wouldn't be for me. he has serious attitude problem which prob. stems from all the money he's earnt over the last few seasons playing very little football. he's also very overweight just now which would support my personal views on him.

12.) 08 Aug 2016 18:26:58
Again just like with Mata, even if Nasri is available, regardless of his attitude and weight he would have teams in Europe above us in the pecking order willing to gamble on him anyway.
We need to lower our expectations and recognise where we are as a club.
WE don't HAVE ANY MORE MONEY THAN MOST MID TABLE PREM TEAMS
Sooner we understand that the better the atmosphere and vibe within the club will be. We signed Koeman and Walsh that's extraordinary for this summer. Small steps.

I notice these Strootman rumours are dead however funes mori linked with Roma. Maybe a swap deal with us chucking in 5 million euros to sweeten the deal. Imo funes mori is decent but he is a loose cannon which you could probably do without in the premier league, another reason why I can't wait to see the back of stones. We will have city's pants right down if he goes for anywhere near the price rumoured. We could replace him and stones with koulibaly which I highly doubt will happen. Line ( convinced hell do a better job than arouna) from sunderland. I think we should give up on witsel which personally think is the case and if not definitely should be as he comes across as a total mercenary. Maybe the media got it wrong with the 100 million as its looking more like 100 quid.

I can't see anything but a massive scoreline in evertons favour tonight. Coyb let's show we mean business.

Toffee time

{Ed025's Note - that would be great TT but i cant see there being more than 1 goal in it mate..

1.) 12 Sep 2016 21:36:16
Nice to see Lukaku back scoring again.

{Ed025's Note - he need that second half mate..

2.) 12 Sep 2016 22:01:24
Definitely. If he scores 15 - 20 this season we are going to be there or there abouts at the end of the season.

Hart off to torino.

It's phenomenal thierry Henry has gone to work with Bobby.

Toffee time

1.) 26 Aug 2016 16:43:16
I hope Henry can steer Martinez in the right directions and perhaps insist on the odd 'plan b' now and again, because I notice RM has taken Graeme Jones and fitness coach Richard Evans with him too 🙄.

2.) 26 Aug 2016 17:38:14
Henry talks a load of rubbish in sky they will get on well together.

3.) 26 Aug 2016 18:04:29
Jones has gone with him! Good job International sides can't get relegated. Of course the other way of looking at it is that Martinez is a Cup Manager.

26 Aug 2016 13:13:33
It wouldn't surprise me if me made a Dutch signing . Koeman took a few to Southampton . He's bound to rate one of two anyway. I'd still like to see us take a risk on strootman. Cracking player. I can't see Barry playing the whole season. He'll need wrapping in cotton wool by Christmas and all though McCarthy is a half decent player, he doesn't bump us up a level which strootman would.

Toffee time

1.) 26 Aug 2016 13:31:51
However good he is, we would have to wrap strootman up all season. We can't be spending that much money on someone with serious injury problems.

2.) 26 Aug 2016 13:48:37
One bad injury. I remember van nistelrooy suffer a similar one. Didn't stop him. Granted some players never come back the same, I. e, Torres. But it works both ways.

3.) 26 Aug 2016 14:32:27
Strootman would be a high risk investment bags of ability. Who's going to risk 30mill plus? I would imagine moshiri even would wince at that.

On deadline day I believe he would be available for 15-20 million with add-one. Worth a punt imo.

I still think Hart will join us. I didn't believe Koeman's press conference regarding that at all.

Brahimi would be my number one target.

Toffee time

{Ed025's Note - he is very good TT but maybe with his strength being on the wing where we are strong is making him second choice?..

What complications ed.

Toffee time

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant but (a) Napoli will not sell without a replacement and that is proving a problem, (b) the offer is currently too low, and (c) Everton seem suprised that there are fees to go to an agent and a third party also trying to get the deal completed.}
