If we really are in for Morgan Gibbs White, Does that mean we are not trying to keep Dele after all? How would that even work seeing as we haven't even paid Spurs any money yet? Are we just back to collecting number 10's agin.?

Who knows Philly? Dele’s gone on tour so is certainly part of the squad. Hard to understand why Lampard would bring him in if he didn’t want him around. Who are our other number 10s? Ideally, you’d want 2 in each position.

By all accounts Dele is the fitest at the club up to now. Looks like the penny has dropped and he's going to work his socks off. I hope he does too as he's a cracking player when on song.

We can't send him back as he is our player and has a contract, give him a chance as there is a player in him.

He showed some positive flickers of life the last few games. We barely gave him 5 minutes as a 10 he was deeper in midfield mostly. He is a 10 no doubt taking aim at him isn't really solving any of our problems. Fingers crossed he continues to slowly edge back to the player he was 3 years ago.

Dele can be an outstanding player for us but it really does depend on how we fair this season. If he has the chance to play in a creative attacking team then we really could see something like his brilliant older form. But if we're struggling again, backs to the wall, scrap to avoid relegation then i think Dele will once more be sidelined. It's just not the kind of football he's suited to and why he barely featured last year.

The clubs transfer policy has changed and they are now looking at progression transfers aswell as proven players.
MGW can play a couple of positions. Ali would have to displace either Gordon or any new signing.

It will cost us more than 10 mil to get traores grease for his arms for the oppisition to stop fouling him most times but i think 10 mil is a bargain in my opinion even if he can't score goals he will get some assists for dcl no doubt be better clubs after him though but 10 mil no brainer for me.

8 goals and 14 assists in 160 appearances is not a great return.
He’s fast and strong but that’s about it.
Would rather £10m be spent elsewhere.

Cant disagree with you but Everton have shot themselves in the foot. They have one RB too young to start regualry and one too old to start regularly. Our only LB back up is a center back (which we're also short on) . In an ideal world, we would buy a top level 25 year old who can start at right back and fill in at LB as needed. As it stands, we have no money so our 25 year old right back will have to be Kenny. (Here's hoping Mykolenko is fit for 38 games and Patterson gets up to speed real quick. )

I would give no credence to that.

I would like to see us loan Schalke Davies if Weston goes. Hopefully Davies would improve his game being away from the pressure of paying for his home team. This would either make him good enough to keep or hopefully drum up interest and value from other sides for a sale.

I was under the impression that punishment for not staying within ffp guidelines was banning said team from european competitions. Therefor, if we don't make it to Europe next year, overspending won't really matter to us. Is this correct?

PhillyToffee

{Ed025's Note - no philly, the punishment can be huge fines, transfer embargo,s and even point deductions mate, not really a road to go down..
