Hi Ed, can you confirm anything on this report I came across. The football world was in a state of shock last night when news erupted that Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi could be on his way to Goodison Park. The transfer, which is expected to cost €31 million, was leaked by key sources at the San Siro. 'Icardi is looking to leave the club as soon as possible', remarked one source. 'He has his heart set on joining Everton, so I reckon that the deal will go through. ? Possibly why Steve Walsh was over in Italy? Interesting and hopefully true. nsno.

Joss, Sandro has already stated that he doesn't want to focus on anything else, other than the U21's this weekend onwards.
So may be a little slower to get over the line. I think if we get him, he will go some way to replacing Roms goals.
I have watched lad for a long time and can't speak highly enough of him. Has the finishing ability of David Villa but the speed and directness of a young Michael Owen. Lad is top drawer.
I agree with Ed on Niang. Heard he is a bit of a belter as well and causes disruption.
I guess a positive way to look at it is he is 22 and better to have as an option than Lennon, McGeady etc.

Hi Ed, when big rom goes to chelski do you think michy batshuayi will be part of the deal? Who I personally think would be a perfect replacement. Another player I would like to think we had genuine interest in is Bertrand traore, Ed are you able to confirm this? Thanks in advance. COYB.
{Ed002's Note - No Batshuayi is not involved. A number of sides have discussed Traore but it is Lyon who are to meet with Chelsea this week with a firm proposal.}

Ed - clearly that was made some time ago either at beginning of or even prior to window as talks about Depay, Lookamn etc ( though I note you missed Morgan in the DCM) .
Any likely targets at this stage of window?

Hi Ed, the young lad we're talking about Leandro paderes from Roma is there any genuine interest from us? Personally I don't see him as a Morgan sneids style player he could be our long time missing Arteta style player. It's a BIG yes from me
{Ed002's Note - He is a defensive midfield player who Roma have signed a short-term replacement for and are willing to let go. They have offered him to another side. Everton don't figure in this at all as far as I am aware.}
