If Everton have a contract with Juventos, re Kean, how can they renage on the deal, even givern his return to them has not worked out, we have signed more than one or two player who have failed to deliver, but have been stuck with them, surely the same applies here.

J.C.W.

{Ed002's Note - Moise Kean (S) Juventus have spoken with his agent knowing that they have an obligation to buy the player in 2023 "under certain conditions", or for a straight fee this summer if they want to move him on. And the plan is to recover the money due to Everton by selling him this summer. PSG provide an option as an Icardi replacement.}

1.) 23 Mar 2022 17:44:49
ED02 he must have some agent getting him moves to dream clubs discounting us obviously ha ha.

{Ed002's Note - I explained at the time Everton was no more than a stepping stone.}

2.) 23 Mar 2022 19:13:38
A stepping stone down the toilet. The kids useless and we will be one of his high water marks.

3.) 23 Mar 2022 23:01:57
If Everton have him under contract how can Juventus sell him.

4.) 24 Mar 2022 18:42:34
Boys on the down escalator to nowhere.

5.) 24 Mar 2022 19:04:43
Mostly because he’s rubbish. He’s Lukaku without the pace, strength or finishing ability.

6.) 25 Mar 2022 09:04:33
Swan I’m the same?.

7.) 25 Mar 2022 11:59:45
I think that just leaves Lukaku's first touch and attitude Swan!

21 Dec 2021 15:35:38
Digne may have expressed his reluctance to join Newcastle, but I hear Holgate has expressed no such reservations, just a matter of whether the club's can agree on a fee, may be b's but three different unconnected have told me this. personally, would sell him for dog meat.

J.C.W.

{Ed025's Note - hes a decent chappie but not a chum of mine JCW.. :)

1.) 21 Dec 2021 16:59:50
That got me right on the funny Boneo ed ??.

{Ed025's Note - thanks PAL.. :)

2.) 21 Dec 2021 18:03:51
C’mon lads, he’s the cat’s WHISKERS. Wait, that’s cat food.

3.) 21 Dec 2021 18:04:25
He’s never going to WINALOT at Newcastle. That’s better.

{Ed025's Note - that is certainly better JB.. :)

4.) 21 Dec 2021 21:37:54
I've seen no links with him to Newcastle.

5.) 21 Dec 2021 22:11:15
Cheer up Bretto lad!

6.) 22 Dec 2021 11:50:41
He’s another one that showed decent potential but is a total flop.

7.) 22 Dec 2021 23:56:28
I think the three unconnected who told you j. c. w are barking up the wrong tree.

If we could move one of the big earners of the pay roll, would like to see us move for Zumer, the 125 per week seems to be blocking the move to w/ ham, move one of the 100 per week earner and we might be able to do something about our centeral defence.

J.C.W.

{Ed002's Note - Zouma will not be joining Everton.}

1.) 26 Aug 2021 16:39:56
Just seen he has signed for west ham. They will be a force this year, especially if lingard eventually signs for them.

{Ed0666's Note - hopefully they’ll sign Origi

If we are talking about getting rid of managers, player ect, the getting rid has to start much higher, I'm sure our owner is a great business man, but he has made a giant mess of OUR club.
He has put in lots of cash, and I don't expect him to sell up with a major loss, but if he is as smart as people say, he must surely see it's time to cut his losses, as things stand, if we were to go down the value of his assets would tumble. His best interest, and ours is a swift parting of the ways.

J.C.W.

1.) 21 Jul 2022 16:09:51
Mosh leaving would not change our financial situation. We would still be shopping in the bargain basement. Only thing that can help us is increasing income, and shrewd spending. There is quality out there at value - do we have the scouts to find then? Changing everything now could well do more harm than good. I’d rather we were stable before selling up, changing manager and half the squad.

2.) 21 Jul 2022 17:42:12
Let see where we are come the world cup break. Not sure where the shock has come that we were beaten by Arsenal who have been on the up for 6 months and have spent clever money on some Man City stars. And then a well drilled MLS team in great form whilst we field a team that scraped survival thanks to 3 teams being worse (just) that has lost its only star player and is full of kids and players in their 2nd game of a very hot pre season. We will undoubtedly kick off as we are and will be a few games before the window shuts. We will get a few faces but as said before, we have no money. We must be clever and wait it out. Getting desperate and pleasing fans with a 15 M mediocre player isn't the answer on or off the pitch. We will be in for a tough season. Talk of top half is beyond optimistic. How can anyone claim that? Deluded frankly. We will be in a fight yet again but I am still convinced that we will finish season as survivors 15th my money is on. Not sure that FL will make the WC break and if these pages are anything to go by, fan power will yet again force a manager out when the issues are upstairs. FM isn't going to care about some guy on minimum wage claiming he's an idiot. He will get investment and or a profit. Don't be fooled into thinking he cares how we feel. That's what Bill's for, to turn up and be abused every other week. FM won't show his face again, doesn't mean he's got to sell until someone makes him an offer too good to refuse. Could be years. Do your bit and buy a new strip for ya kids cheapskate.

3.) 21 Jul 2022 22:54:03
Make a nice kit and we might buy them.

06 Jul 2022 21:21:50
Will Townsend be fit for the start of the season. ?

J.C.W.

1.) 06 Jul 2022 22:02:48
In the club video that got released Townsend was walking about and doing lunges with 40kg bar bell on his shoulders. So it’s looking good, with 5 subs next season impact player to ease him back in.

2.) 06 Jul 2022 22:08:46
No he'll be out for the rest of this year. Maybe after the world cup.

3.) 06 Jul 2022 22:12:51
Last I read he would be out until next year, it was a nasty ACL injury.

4.) 06 Jul 2022 23:26:10
ACL's are the worse.

5.) 07 Jul 2022 06:09:10
Didn’t do himself any favours with that sprint hobble celebration for the winner vs palace as well haha. Can’t really blame him though.

6.) 07 Jul 2022 06:21:18
I still think we should be in the market for a right winger. I think this will be another Bolasie situation.

03 Jul 2022 21:58:16
Till a take over goes though, speculation about who we might bring in, is just click bait.
We might bring in 4or5 good players, without extra funding we may be left with 2 or 3 free transfers, so all we can do is wait for the money men to sort out the price, or not, then we might now where we are.

J.C.W.

1.) 04 Jul 2022 09:38:48
Your right there mate but we all think we know what’s going on lo, at the end of the day none of us on here have a clue eh.

2.) 04 Jul 2022 10:02:59
GB, tawkoski makes us much better on his own, even without Richy, I see us just the same.

3.) 04 Jul 2022 10:23:12
He was a good signing mate.

4.) 04 Jul 2022 13:06:27
Tarkowski is great signing. 1 the best centre backs in top 5 leagues last season. I actually feel more at ease with us signing him. I hope Mina stays and stays injury free. Could be a solid partnership.

5.) 04 Jul 2022 17:00:54
Unfortunately I don't think there is any chance of mina staying injury free. We need to offload yerry now. He's made of glass and on high wages.

6.) 04 Jul 2022 18:26:35
I don’t think the takeover makes any difference. We’re still restricted by FFP.
If we get bought by the Americans the best we can hope is that a US company wants to invests commercially in ground, TV rights etc.
it’s maddening that all that money and you can’t plough it in to the business.
Unless you’re City who just through money at challenging UAFA.

28 Jun 2022 17:17:08
Harry winks is not a bad player, but in truth he's a journeyman, we are full to the roof with journeyman, we need players who,10 minutes to go, 1.0down can come on and turn it around. That with respect is not Harry winks.

J.C.W.

1.) 28 Jun 2022 17:32:58
Looks like Sevilla are interested in Winks, hope he goes there we can do better than him.

2.) 28 Jun 2022 17:43:18
Journeyman? Where else has he been?

3.) 28 Jun 2022 17:49:58
Journeyman?
He’s been at spurs his whole career which is the complete opposite of a journeyman.

4.) 28 Jun 2022 19:07:05
Journeyman? he been at spurs since 2013 an was in the youth set up.

5.) 28 Jun 2022 19:13:37
Hahaha. As much of a journeyman than say Harry kane then.

6.) 29 Jun 2022 08:05:12
Probably means average, plodder, also ran, no better than what we have. Anyway with levy doing the negotiating it would be a straight swap Richarlison for Winks.

7.) 29 Jun 2022 10:39:23
I think average and ''journeyman'' go well together, maybe the 'too and froing' Winks did between Hemel Hempstead and White Hart Lane as a kid was what was meant in the OP. ?.

05 May 2022 23:35:13
Nobody wants to be out injured, and being out of form is something that happens to the best, but even if you are short of form, you can at least give 100 percent, DCL has let himself down, the club, and the supporter's, it's said he wants away, ok but surely you attract interested parties by your attitude as much as anything else, and his stinks.

J.C.W.

1.) 06 May 2022 07:39:20
Just out of interest JCW why do you think his attitude stinks?

He’s been out injured - not sure that’s an attitude issue

When he has played he’s had no service - again not sure that’s an attitude issue.

2.) 06 May 2022 09:16:27
Gingerdan I agree the service has been poor but his workrate has been terrible when played just coasted through with no effort or fight.
I can understand fans questioning his attitude and the fact FL picked Rondon over Lewin to come off the bench v Chelsea says a lot and is hopefully a kick up the backside for Lewin and he realises he has not world class he's a decent striker with a poor goal scoring record.

3.) 06 May 2022 11:40:43
I am one of the ones who have criticized DCL in the past. However we need all the players to step up for the next five games and keep us up. Let's hope DCL can score a few and all will be forgiven.

Letting Alan leave, is crazy, not selling Holgate when there are offers, is sheer insanity.
Anything over 10m, I would bit there hands off, he gives second rate liability a bad name.

J.C.W.

{Ed0666's Note - second rate liability? Clearly you’ve been in a car when she’s been driving?

Can anyone answer this question.
Who are on this committee that have turned down Everton's request for a postponement.
If we are privy to this information we might be able to work out who's interests they are operating in, it's not evetons, it's not football, so is it the broadcasters, or are there more selfinteresting motives. ?

This desision boarders on the illegal, it should be the same rules for everyone.
It does come as no surprise, we have always come out on the wrong side of official rulings, it really is time we started to stand up for ourselves, better lawyers, as well as better players .

Even if the DPP, come out with no further action, think it would be hard to resume playing in the UK (no smoke without fire) would get abuse where ever he played.
Would be in the interests of both player and club to go abroad on a nominal fee, off the wage bill for us, new start for him .

Leeds get beat, then goal difference meant we only need a point, but I'd rather be 3.0 up at half time and relaxes for once.

Frank may not have been my first pick, but whoever we got, it would have been a gamble.
He seems smart, determined, and with something to prove, all we can do is get behind the team on the pitch, and hope those in positions of power sough themselves out so hopefully where all pulling in the Same direction. just one plea can we please see that self serving agent, cut out of the loop when it comes to the running of OUR club.
