Agree - Thelwell inherited a sinking ship and hasn't done the worst thing in the world with what has been brought in over the last two years. Dyche seemed to be against the players brought in regardless and was going to make them sit on the sidelines no matter what the side required, seemingly out of stubbornness. If the wings are clipped and there's a manager willing to work with him, Alcaraz, Ndayie and O'Brien could just be the start.

I agree, nurse Ndiaye back as there is little to push for more than pride this season. He is key to progression next year with the right players around him. Alcaraz will complement him very well, as will Garner, who is an extremely intelligent player. As much as i love Gueye, the spine replacement lays in his position. Tim has shown great ability, but injuries, and as well as he played, naivety on his part early season, make me doubt if he's "there" yet.

13 goals in top flight football in Germany and England in almost 100 games, yes he's scored a few the last couple of seasons in the Championship, but also a LOT of time out injured. At 25 there is little chance of that getting better.

Im no mathematician but a 50 million SAVING on that loan must indicate how bad those terms were. About 14% + what Friedkin are potentially paying on a loan that size? That is a criminal offence alone.

FFP has suddenly hit some of the "bigger" teams, so don't be surprised if he does get his head turned. Barcelona could sign him for nothing and sell him a week later the way they are being run for goodness sake. His spell in Ligue 1 after not getting a sniff at Uni-turd may have given him some grounding, all depends on the agent selling the situation though unfortunately.
