I think last season we would of lost both games away to Brentford and Leeds. Missing a striker is a hard watch

Never thought I would say this but Iwobi had another fantastic game, got an assist, loads of running. Credit we're credit is due.

Shame we didn't knick a win just so we could have moved up the table, got 6 hard games next, hope we don't sack Lampard if they don't go our way. This club needs some stability to move forward, I believe that chopping managers has given us a mix match squad. We won't get relegated on losing to the top 6 it's the games mid-table and below that will define us. Any points against top six is a bonus.

No James again for Man City and Coleman is also not fit. It's going to be a hard game to watch. I can see that Holgate will be right back. wish it was Geoffrey.

It's going to be back against the walls and no possession. Hopefully they have their eyes on the champs league final and we nick it off a set piece like most of our games.

Feel torn on James. It's been fairly obvious from a lot of the "injuries" that there's not a whole lot wrong with him (fatigue, tightness etc) which generally speaking shows an appalling attitude. But then if you were him and actually had some ability it'd be pretty demoralising playing for us so on that score can sort of see why he's ducked playing as often as possible.

He's obviously not one who'd walk over broken glass for the team but I also think that refs don't give his type of player enough protection. Same with Grealish (most fouled player in the Prem, Zaha, Saint Maximan (another plagued by injuries this season) etc. I think a few more early yellow cards for the cynical fouls made on them would help

When he's 'fit' James takes the hits, rolls about a bit (less than Richy though) and normally puts in a shift. He seems to enjoy playing when he is so I think there is a bit more wrong there than attitude and CA hasn't been 100% truthful in many of his fitness bulletins - probably aimed at misleading the opponents

I'm frustrated he hasn't played as much as I would like but still give him the benefit of the doubt.

Watching PSG tonight. not sure what the hype is about on Kean, he's the PSG version of Iwobi. If we make a profit on him then decent 👍🏻.

Think you need to give your head a wobble.
12 goals in 22 appearances and in the semis of the champions league.
Don’t think you can judge him on a 20 minute cameo last night where they only needed to hold on.

The most frustrating thing is from this season, we have seen that we can play. That we can score 4/ 5 goals in game.
We didn't win against Burnley, Brighton or Crystal Palace. We have to play Arsenal, Villa twice, Spurs all in the same post as us. We are as close to Europe as we are to 11th now. Our players have lost their confidence and it's properly for the best the fans aren't at stadiums now for us. Now with our form I am really struggling to see where our form will come from. Our injuries are a joke. imagine how many we would have with Europe.
My personal position is the players can't play with wing backs. 5 at the back only works when your playing the elite. Always have hope but hard to see where our performances are going to come from.
I like C. A, i do, he's has a lot of average players that weren't his. We couldn't beat anyone in the top six but have beaten Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and (Leicester) this season and also we used to go behind in games and we would lose. That has changed (not in our last few games) . He attracts better players, made QF's in both cups and four games ago we was in such a strong position. My other half often says you just don't know what Everton will turn up. the team that is fired up and exciting to watch or the team that looked tired abs can't be bothered to be on the pitch.

Looking at the table we would be lucky enough to get Seventh. and rely on Man City winning the cups to get into Europe. We lost Burnley, Fulham and Newcastle at home and all those games weren't a snatch and grab. We were poor in all of them.

I think we are only fighting for Europe as it's been a weird season, it's nice to have hope but would be nice to see us win convincingly against some of these lower teams. Burnley got smashed by spurs just recently.

If we lose to City next week, I think our season will just fizzle out. Hope I'm wrong.
