Eds is there any concrete PSG interedt in Richarlison. One of the big french Journos has wrote thst mbappe isn't signing a new deal and could be sold to avoid him leaving on a free. Goes on to say that if Mbappe goes, Richarlison is the preferred choice.
Any truth?

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - PSG were interested two or three years ago. I suspect he is now teasing the Everton supporters.}

1.) 23 Aug 2021 20:34:59
Ed is that your way of saying there’s nothing in it?

16 Aug 2021 09:18:59
Eds are we still interested in pape mata sarr? I've seen an article on sky saying that the metz owner was flying in for talks three prem teams and was wondering if we are one of them.

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - No, ity is nothing to do with Everton.}

1.) 16 Aug 2021 11:37:59
Thanks eds.

{Ed002's Note - Pape Matar Sarr (DM/CM/AM) Metz don't want to sell the very versatile youngster after only signing the him last summer but if a good offer were made they would consider it. Unlikely to qualify for a Work Permit in England unless paying over the odds and one who will be off to AFCON although clubs could seek an exemption. Was watched by Everton and Aston Villa last season but his representatives have approached Chelsea and both Manchester clubs to see if they would be interested in buying the player and loaning him back for a season - knowing he is nowhere near ready for their first teams in the PL. At the time Everton and Aston Villa saw the need to recruit a replacement for Luiz and Besic but his representatives will only look to them again if they have no luck with the other clubs with a view that Manchester City and Chelsea have a sustained interest and likely both remain keen.}

2.) 16 Aug 2021 20:38:07
A lime in the press that City, Utd and Chelsea are interested and that reps are in England discussing a potential move with 3 clubs. Those 3 clubs are spent up for the summer no? Arsenal and Spurs would make more sense - hoping we could be a surprise package.

{Ed002's Note - Why would they be “spent up”?}

3.) 16 Aug 2021 21:23:17
Just speculating, Ed. All 3 have already spent big already, City are still in for Kane, Chelsea want a Centre Back. Man U maybe?

{Ed002's Note - I would not make any early calls on this JBT.}

4.) 16 Aug 2021 22:30:47
Going to be a very busy couple of weeks isn’t it?
So many teams in the Prem need to strengthen.
Can still see a lot of swap and loans being completed.
Barce can’t be the only team in a pickle.

Any interest in zambo anguissa eds, seen it in a few places, that its us and valencia.
Player who i reckon would do well at everton to be fair.

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (DM) Fulham will accept the sale of the player but not a loan. This has taken Valencia out of the reckoning and possibly Napoli who have cheaper preferred options. Roma have a lengthy list of DM options they are looking at - he is on the list but not at the top although the two clubs have discussed the player but are around €5M apart on price. I am not aware of any approach to Fulham by Everton.}

1.) 06 Aug 2021 16:29:53
Cheers eds, are you aware of any centre mids we are looking at?

With rumours of andre gomes to benfica, james and tom possibly off, and the other fella having a few issues. we could end up. a little short.

{Ed002's Note - A I have explained there has been interest in Marvelous Nakamba (DM) His future may depend on what, if anything, happens with Douglas Luiz this summer. In January Aston Villa resisted the opportunity to include him in a deal for Morgan Sanson with Marseille. Crystal Palace have asked Aston Villa if he is available. It has been suggested that Everton are interested but I am not aware of an approach to Aston Villa just yet. As he is down the pecking order, if Luiz stays then they might well be open to a sale.}

Unlikely to qualify for a Work Permit in England and one who will be off to AFCON although Everton and Aston Villa will seek an exemption if they can reach agreement over price as both may have the need to recruit a replacement for Luiz and Besic.
Angelo Fulgini (CM) Angers have made clear their €15M cash asking price for the player who they accept will move on in the summer. There is declared interest from Monaco, Newcastle and from Southampton. His agent says he has spoken with Crystal Palace and Everton.
Mahmoud Dahoud (CM) no chance - will stay.
Adrien Rabiot (CM) No realistic chance - far better options.
Marcus Tavernier (LW/AM) versatile Middlesbrough youngster that Leicester and Everton have enquired after with other Premier League clubs perhaps interested in getting involved at the right price - having signed a new contract recently, Middlesbrough will look a premium. Won't happen and a mistake.
Philippe Coutinho (AM) Certainly not out of the question.
Jesse Lingard (AM) Again a possibility.
Oussama Tannane (AM) Vitesse do not want to sell but Everton have had him watched and have spoken with his agent. Seems like a sideways move so unlikely given the player sees better options in Turkey..

Long shot Ed002 but I've just seen some comments Max Eberl at BMG about dennis zakaria wanting to leave and play in the prem

Any efc interest?

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - Zero chance.}

1.) 24 Jul 2021 13:45:55
I'd have him all say long, but I have to agree with Ed002.

2.) 24 Jul 2021 13:56:39
Cheers eds. thought i knew what the the answer would be, but thought i'd ask.

3.) 24 Jul 2021 22:09:17
Don’t see what’s embarrassing about Skylarks post, he only ask why you said zero chance.

{Ed0666's Note - it’s embarrassing because you should know you’re a small club and Zakaria would only sign for you if he had a lobotomy. Apart from that I agree with you I didn’t see anything wrong with the question. I’m only joshing with ya mate. I’m of the hope you sign a few good players and you make the derby games a little competitive 😂

4.) 25 Jul 2021 10:03:18
I'm hoping Liverpool sign a few good players because taking those 4 points out of 6 last season including the easy 2 nil win at anfield so I'm hoping you at least make it a little more difficult this season.

New names linked, samuel chukwueze, joaquin correa and marvellous nakamba.
Rumour mull in full strength.

Efcfanatic

Samuel Chukwueze (RW) Lyon interest went after Villareal requested €70M-€75M for a player they value at far, far less. His agent is now hawking him around the Premier League but clubs don't see value in the post-pandemic price of half what it was or goals return and he comes with a required "must be a starter if fit" caveat which few English sides would agree to. Wolves may look to him if Adama Traore departs in the summer. And Everton would like more details but have addressed their immediate RW needs. Manchester United and others, such as Arsenal but only as a Pepe replacement, would be keener at half the price. Atletico Madrid want to add a RW and are happy to let Lemar move on but the asking price takes them out of the picture so they propose including Santiago Arias in a deal.
Joaquin Correa (F/AM) West Ham had JC on a lengthy list of targets after his agent hawked him around the London clubs but were put off by the €40M asking price. Lazio want to upgrade and are willing to sell. Spurs has an interest but would want a loan to buy as they regroup under Paratici and have a preferred option to replace Kane but do not be surprised at an offer. I am not aware of any interest from Arsenal at this time but if Icardi leaves PSG he is very much on their list. Chelsea have preferred options but he has been offered to them, Everton, Inter and Manchester City.
Marvelous Nakamba (DM) His future may depend on what, if anything, happens with Douglas Luiz this summer. In January Aston Villa resisted the opportunity to include him in a deal for Morgan Sanson with Marseille. Crystal Palace have asked Aston Villa if he is available. It has been suggested that Everton are interested but I am not aware of an approach to Aston Villa just yet. As he is down the pecking order, if Luiz stays then they might well be open to a sale.}

Eds is there anything in this matheus perriera deal that's resurfaced.

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - Not with Everton.}

10 Jul 2020 16:42:13
Eds I'm reading a bit on Manchester City and the thatvare confident with being exonorated by CAS.
My question is what will this do in regards to FFP? Will the rules be changed or relaxed?

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - It won't do anything. There is no evidence that they did anything wrong - and this is all from years ago.}

1.) 10 Jul 2020 20:08:06
Of course they are confident.

2.) 10 Jul 2020 20:08:47
Must of been something otherwise why the ban.

Ed's are there any truth in mbaye diagnes rumours. Just wondering as this seems to have come out of nowhere. Thanks for any info.

21 Jul 2019 12:38:13
Also moise kean not in the juve team. Everton bound maybe?

Efcfanatic

{Ed002's Note - Let's assume not.}

1.) 21 Jul 2019 16:12:25
I’m wondering if this one will ever happen. Reports saying Juve want a buy back clause that’s only a few million more than the transfer fee. There’s not much value In that deal. And it doesn’t really fit the profile of our recruitment policy of buying under 25 years for future squad investment.

Also with 3 weeks to go, it’s just a matter of time before a CL club looks at him and then we’re pretty much out of it.

{Ed002's Note - They are in talks with another club.}

2.) 21 Jul 2019 17:31:14
Then that just leaves Rafael Leão as a linked forward that has any legs, and that one is going to be a struggle with a lot of clubs interested.

Zaha is way beyond our price range. And players like Mandzukic too old. It’ll be interesting to see where the club turn their attention to next to improve the forward line.

3.) 21 Jul 2019 16:24:42
Is it Valencia Ed? Good strikers are hard to come by. We might just end up with DCL and Tosun with an older striker to make up the numbers.

{Ed002's Note - What?}

4.) 21 Jul 2019 19:53:56
Zouma not coming, CB's choice looks like Kean and Mina - was asked by smit to name a failure well Mina is it -. First game is 10th August, we currently have a weaker Squad than last Season. So far no striker coming in but for me we already have a striker, we have to run Tosun as an out and out striker, with the support and chances given by Bernard, Richarlison, Siggurdson then Tosun played properly will be our answer. Midfield if Gueye stays is plenty good enough. RB is a concern with backup needed for Coleman. Lots of outgoings (needed) but Squad depth is now poor.

5.) 21 Jul 2019 21:48:37
Are Valencia in for Kean?

{Ed002's Note - Wrong page.}

6.) 21 Jul 2019 23:14:02
Still 3 weeks BCT, and this time last summer we only had Richarlison signed. A lot can happen quickly. Improvements will be made I’m sure. I’m just at a loss as to who our real targets are.

7.) 22 Jul 2019 07:42:03
If you class Mina as a failure because he was injured then that is a bit harsh. He looked decent in most of the games he did play in, and it is hard to judge when he didn't get a run of games. For a player who was injured and considering it was his 1st season, I wouldn't expect too much more from him.
On that basis Tosun was a failure too last season.
We can't just call players a failure without giving them time.
As for Tosun, playing him up front on his own isn't playing to his strengths, he isn't quick enough and can't hold the ball up. Maybe you see something different to me though. He might be a decent striker in a 2 but I haven't seen any evidence he can do it as a lone striker.

Panic stations again for some on here. Personally I trust Marco to get us some quality signings in before the deadline.

Watch this space.

8.) 22 Jul 2019 13:07:33
I’d like To have seen Tosun and DCL up front together in pre-season. Tosun is a better finisher but DCL has pace and can hold the ball up. Problem then would be dropping a DM and I’d be worried about our defence.

9.) 22 Jul 2019 19:51:31
Mina was brought in on the strength of his goal against us. He has been awful. Tosun does not need to hold the ball up he is a penalty area player and we have the width and No10 to feed him. He should not have to come looking for the ball, that is not his talent.

10.) 22 Jul 2019 22:38:13
Wrong Bill. Walsh would buy a player because he scored against us but not Marco.
I'm not sure which Everton you watch but Tosun like DCL would need to hold the ball up, he's too slow to counter attack with our other pacey players and who is going to cross it into him?
I think you are probably longing for the Allardyce way to play but we don't play like that.
We are a counter attacking team like it or not.
We press and attack or counter attack. Tosun just can't cope with that way of playing.

11.) 23 Jul 2019 07:41:00
Every home game mate. We were awful against Leicester then Tosun came on (to late) , Bernard moved right, crossed and Tosun was unlucky with his effort (penalty area) . Wide men press, Tosun penalty area, watch him playing for Turkey or when he was at Besiktas. He is a very good player.

12.) 23 Jul 2019 18:03:49
He didn't play up front on his own for Besiktas.
He isn't good enough to play in our squad or formation.
The only person who doesn't see that is you.
He was an Allardyce purchase for the kick and go brigade and we aren't that anymore.
Move on, sell him and let's find someone who is better.

If it is you got to think why.
A - they've lost there minds

B - they see a technically proficent player who may be being used in the wrong place, they think they can improve him and will bring something to there team. Cases papu gomez or mario pascilic

Dont get me wrong i'm no iwobi fan. but Atalanta are no mugs and don't do stuff on the spare of the moment.

Ciacina to be fair mate I've always been a more than a little sceltical, more so with silva than koeman granted.
I don't think were going to go and spend a load of money, we ll not to the degree we have been but i think well offload the players we have with some commercial value who are surplus, say siggurdson, schneiderlein and plus a few others and we will have some money to spend.
one thing i do think is we will spend wisely, i can't see up signing 50m+ players but i can see us signing players who are underrated and have the potential to develop. basically brands needs to earn his corn this summer, he needs to be spot on.

ToffeeDavey, we have an rich successful accountant who runs the club, if anybody knows how to handle FFP it will be him, spend and keep us out of UEFA's bad books it will be him.

I think we will see a few incomings and outgoings, possibly not A list superstars but definitely good underrated players who can be improved. Centre mid (possibly mids if we sell both Sig and Schneiderelin and god i hope we get sangare as he's class) , centreback, right mid and right back all need to be strengthened plus let's be real, there is no way Ancelotti would have come to us if couldn't build a team to compete. The guys a winner and i can't see him signing on to a project if there finances were not available to strengthen the side no matter how much we pay him.
Summers is going to be exciting i reckon. in Brands and Ancelotti we trust.

Sangare is class, as good defensively as Gana but better with the ball, but unless brands can be a tad persuasive I think hell move to a club playing European football.
Personally like him or Benaccer.
Defensive wise i'd take either stark or elvedi, all day long.

Be interesting to see what strikers we get linked with the mitravic and welbeck rumours have cooled off?
