Think we had Dendoncker on the back burner in case we didn't get IGG and Garner. Now they're hopefully done we backed off.

Before he added the goals and the Diaz, Brereton Diaz was still a hard working forward who could cause issues. Some linked don't have that graft element to their game (neither did Armstrong someone mentioned above) . Hopefully sign him because he's way better than Rondon and won't break the bank.

2nd time we've been linked with Almiron (always sounds like a Nissan to me) . Can't see it being remotely likely but I do like the guy too. Not the goalscorer we desperately need though.

don't think people are deliberately down on the kid, they're just easing their inner Evertonian so they don't get too down when he goes.
A dreamer would hope we keep him and still sign a class striker.
A pessimist would expect him to go and we get an average striker.
An Evertonian would expect that the papers are wrong because the deal done is actually AG straight swap for Barklay and Batshuayi and we'll sign nobody else.

Not a must win yet, we definitely need to focus on our relegation rivals tho. like Man U and West Ham.
