Given United’s issues in goal and Pickford has been linked in the past, how long until we see rumours in the press and, more importantly, do you reckon he would go?

I’m hoping not as he has been solid for us in the last few seasons and partially responsible for keeping us up. I know he is not Big Nev, West, Howard or the like but he has been a standout performer over the last few years and I don’t think we could replace him with the current crop out there.

I liked Tim Horward, he was a very good GK but I’d pick JP over him every day of the week. NS was another level, one of the best I’ve seen do it.

I never got to watch Gordon West in goal for us but Big Nev was probably the best goalkeeper I've watched live. He was one of the best keepers in the world, if not the best, in his prime. As DPP says, Howard was a very good keeper for us but I think JP is above him in our list of best goalkeepers.
I also don't see him leaving any time soon either. I think he has probably had opportunities in the past to jump ship but has never taken them, even when our team has been pretty lame. With that in mind, I'd expect him to stay with us as we move on to a more exciting future with the new stadium and a manager that let's his team attack the opposition rather than try and get a draw every game. The press can try and sell him all they like, we're used to them doing that with our players these days! He would certainly be hard to replace if he were to leave, that's a certainty mate.

Players go to clubs lower in the league for many reasons. Style of football, wages, club profile, expectations of better league positions are just a few. And in our heart of hearts we all know we would struggle to be more attractive than United and spurs. If our players want to leave for them or others, the only thing we can do get the best deal we can and use the money elsewhere.

Man Utd have no money and every position needs replacing - they are in complete decline!
Chelsea maybe more realistic but I think he’ll not move. I hear that he’s very happy at EFC.

Something is rotten in the heart of Man U and I don't see it changing any tine soon. I think any player would be wary of going there at the moment to be honest. Same with Spurs, but to a lesser extent. Just ask Richie.
