If Dyche does go (if the take over actually happens) who do people want to take over? I'd like to see Carlos Corberan personally but can't see it happening.

Depends who the dof is he needs to pick our next manager so they can implement a style of play and all pull in the same direction with a 5 year plan footballs simple when there is a plan a solid unit.

I would welcome any manager who is tactically astute, understands shape, both defensively and offensively and someone who has a clear way of playing
but is not afraid to intelligently adapt his gameplan to best go about winning games of football depending on the strengths of the opposition.

Maybe that is a bit too much to ask, so just somebody who will have a go and play attacking and high intensity football. There are many different philosophies/ styles that could fall into that bracket though Swinners.

O'Neil would be my preferred option. Wolves not doing great at the minute but I think they are ran poorly like us. Their recruitment policies are criminal due to the ownership and preference for certain agents. They have also had their best talent ripped away from them.

I like O'Neil's intelligence and attention to the details. I watched his breakdown of his wins against Bournemouth and Man City on SS. It is evident that he has a clear way of playing. He drills down into every little detail and you can see his desire and passion for the game.

Corberan, Fonseca would be other options that would improve us.

Tbh not really fussed who we get mate as long as they have an attacking impetus and a modern approach to the game, unlike the current dinosaur we are having to suffer.

I've been anti SD forever and the usual backlash to that stance was "you can stick your tippy tappy footy up ya ar99" It's finally time to answer that. There are more than 2 ways to play the game. I actually very much believe in a very solid team and one that has a reputation for rarely conceding. However I don't like aimless crosses and I don't like our only strength being that we are mediocre at set pieces.
I have no problem playing the top 6 and letting them have the ball. But you can't play the bottom teams like that, you have to be aggressive and you have to try to dominate those games. Win lose or draw it's 14 teams 28.games a season we must be setup to try to command the game.

We have a squad that's capable in my eyes of playing much more effectively and we turn up holding on for dear life from the first whistle. Hoof ball is as grotesque to me as this so called tippy tappy. i'd personally like something in the middle. Play a long ball if it's on but keep the ball more and set up to win more.
I can't wait for next season and hopefully we can start to mildly entertain and to score a couple on consecutive games and heck maybe even go a calendar month or 2 as unbeaten?
Even i'd have given SD a chance if his way worked but it doesn't. Dreaming of starting match day truly believing anything is possible instead of the dread filled feelings of wasting my weekends and ruining my mood for my beloved EFC.

I'd like to see G Potter given a chance. Southgate is a no no. At least Potter, with backing, could bring a new philosophy to the club. Southgate is just a puppet and he's been out of club football for years. He doesn't take risks and I think we've all had enough of that type of football. Give Potter time and resources and I believe he could be the man to take us up a level.

I would also take Carsley.

Tactically capable and plays decent football. Added bonus is that he knows the club and what it/ we stand for, albeit, maybe not recently.

May as well request Doris the Tea Lady take charge. We’ve no say really. The board will choose who they want. We will go along with whoever. It’s a massive shame if we get Southgate. Can’t watch England under him and certainly will struggle to watch us set up that way. He’s basically in the same mould as Dyche.

Crawley could be a good shout if he doesn't get offered the England job.

There's not one person out there who can have a go at Dyche for the work he's done over the past 2 years. The work he did last year in keeping us up with all that was going on was a miracle.

However, Thelwell has brought in a more progressive type of player for this season and therefore should have seen him adapt his style, but unfortunately he is not flexible in his style and has no ambition to improve as a manager.

Personally, I don't think Potter has the mental strength to manage a club like Everton. Personally, I think we need someone in the mould of a van gal. Not him obviously, but someone who is big bold, arrogant and has the temperament and broad shoulders to carry the expectations of the club.

Whoever it is, they have a huge exciting job full of reward if they get it right. I can't wait.
