Going to stop reading and posting on here. can't be bothered being associated with such negative and embarrassing so called SUPPORTERS. These are the type of fans? who boo their own players at the match. 2 games in with lots of new players and the same fans that moaned and were negative last season couldn't wait to start again. I am with you Reg Chelsea at home and Villa away are two very tough games add in no striker (that will get sorted) and we also knew it was going to be a tough season so i am not sure what fans expected would happen 2 wins top of the league and poss winners come next may some people need to take a step back and give it a couple of months as i can already sense Goodison going back to be a horrible place to play for our own players because we have too many negative arseholes who can't wait to moan at the first oppertunity.

Think we just need a bit of common sense and a reality check. Yes some absolutely dire players still in the squad, I do think mcneil is a waste of space BUT 2 games in and I think we will be okay.

Like coady and tarkowski. Also think 2 good players in Patterson and mykalenko. Just need to chill. Don't get too Down when we lose but equally don't think we will be in and around europa when we win.

The sad thing is we are an average team but hopefully we will improve over the next few seasons. The last 5 seasons we have spent poorly and been terribly mis managed.

I would be happy to give lampard a lot more time and have a bit of faith. (I may come across negative on here because there are certain players think are extremely poor but I certainly don't think we will be as bad as last season) just take this forum for what it is and don't be so easily offended.

Birkenhead, I'd rather you went and watched your local team, tranmere rather than spending all your posts moaning and baitching.

We need optimism not pessimism. From what I've seen so far there are many reasons to be optimistic once we get a striker in.

Patterson, Holgate, uwobi and the top man onana.

@Ed, @GeoffJono …. could I just correct your positive statements around being optimistic/ better when we get a striker. Enner Valencia, Omar Niasse, Cenk Tosun, Rondon are all strikers. IMO none of these would improve us one iota. It’s a ‘decent striker’ we need ??.
I’m not being negative I just want as many of us to think positively about us getting one with a bit of ability under our financial restraints for the most important position on a football pitch ?.
