Just reading about the appalling comments made by some of our fans regarding the new away kit and its colour. We have no room for hate in society or our club. How very sad.

I think it's opinions not hate, I don't like the pink shirt. Don't see the problem with saying it either.

It’s not the colour that I don’t like, it’s just gaudy and hideous.

Doesn't win me over either. Prefered the black top myself, that looked smart and made you look slim.

It’s too girly. I bought it for my wee girl she is loving it but my 2 boys won’t wear it they said they will get laughed at by the other kids. ah well at least we can buy the blue one for the boys and the pink one for the girls. I seen someone on here said about a rainbow colour as our 3rd kit if they ever make that there is no way my boys will wear that. My boys are only young but they definitely won’t wear colours like that and I won’t force them to either it’s their decision and they won’t budge.

Saw a young lad wearing one yesterday. It didn't look great tbf. A few minutes later clocked another lad in the black shirt and thought it looked great. The second lad turned around and had a name and number on the back. Rondon 33. Got to be a rare purchase that one.

The kit is bloody ugly mate. Also saying you don’t like pink as a kit colour should have no sexist connotations at all. It’s an opinion!

seeing the way the team is playing in america, the last thing i'd be worried about is the colour of the shirt.

Didn't read anything of what I think you're saying. Until a few comments in this thread that is. 1980s little Britain is that way lads. We've had plenty of Pink kits and I don't thinK the whole "blue for boys pink for girls" has been a thing for 40? years has it? Isn't the old saying "real men wear pink"? If that is still a thing then it's learned behaviour encouraged by knuckle dragging parents. Sad if the 2 comments above are a window to the OP point. The problem I see is that since Hummel took over our kits have all been cheap and nasty looking. Some on here seem to love Hummel but I've never liked their designs or quality. I'd love for us to have one of the top brands make our kit an Adidas or Nike but we always end up with the slightly Sunday Market brands like Umbro and Hummel. Hell even Puma would be acceptable.

Some boys just won’t wear pink you can’t force them it’s their decision.

People have the right to choose, if others don’t like that then tough. Freedom of choice or does that only count as long as you chose what everyone says you should chose.

You can always send it back if it doesn't fit, Swinners.

Brown shoes. It's fine for boys to want to wear blue and girls to want to wear pink. Gender generalized preferences are natural. It's when people are forced/ pressured into certain things or to avoid certain things. For example, I'm not buying you that kit get the blue one as it's pink when the boy wants the pink one.
