Wouldn’t say he’s stabbed us in the back - clearly said he wanted to leave.

However am surprised he appears to have picked Spurs. Thought he wanted to go somewhere to win things? Admittedly they’ve got champions league football but they haven’t won anything of note recently - in fact we’ve won the fa cup more recently than them and that was ages ago.

I also don’t see where he fits at spurs? Not going to get in ahead of Kane or Son and kulusevski did well enough last season to suggest he’ll be a starter most games.

If the fee helps us out with ffp and we can start to get a bit more stability then great. Would much rather see him go than us face a points deduction and another relegation battle.

Let’s hope we can use some of the money to purchase a decent replacement.

We need to stop buying players who aren't good enough for clubs. Start buying players who are ready to make the next step in their careers! If that means from lower league clubs then so be it. Stop making the same mistakes as yesteryear. We need a new strategy, a new blueprint. Start looking around and actually using the scouting system we have in place. Buy the next big player or the bag of talent just ready to make the grade. I don't care if we have to languish in mid table until these players get up to speed. Just don't buy the usual hasbeens or players that havnet made the grade at their clubs.

You say we need to stop making the same mistakes. Need a new strategy, a new blueprint. Which all sounds great but then you say using the scouting system we have in place.

Now I’m not aware of is having put a new scouting system in place, so why do you expect anything different to happen with the same scouting system we’ve previously used?

Spitting your dummy out there a bit mate. He's served our club and he has ambitions in his career. He was almost in a relegated side which is not where he wants his career to be. I don't blame him for going.

Gomez and iwobie need to go and no harm to Coleman but he isn’t good enough for back up he needs to join a championship team he is too old. Hopefully Gordon can keep improving and we get more out of him going forward he can run with the ball and he try’s hard . He needs to stop diving as much and work on his crosses and he needs to start creating goal scoring opportunities for other people and he needs to start scoring goals himself and I don’t mean deflections. We really need to sign players here or I can only see relegation battle again. We couldn’t have messed up anymore even if we Tried too. This is ridiculous and embarrassing ??? flip sake even the u14s I coach laugh at me. Only one Everton supporter in the whole team and it’s my son lol god help him and it’s all my fault. I am sure he is like cheers da for this getting sleged every training session.

All well and good getting rid of more and then saying we need to sign more players but it's just not that simple. Selling Richarlison is necessary to put a bit of a dent in ffp but how much of that will we be able to spend?
