Shouldn’t be that line up but can’t see frank dropping the captain to accommodate Patterson as much as the majority of fans want to see it.

I will rock the trend here and suggest Begovic starts in goal, our defence certainly seemed a lot calmer against Newcastle with him there, came out to catch crosses and commanded his area well.

Pickford is the better goalkeeper at reaction saves, no question there, but whether he is making the defence nervous with his constant shouts and staying rooted to his line, or the defence itself, god knows, but like I said the defence played as a unit, with Begovic behind them.

Id say let's not try replacing Allan with a makeshift CDM. let's go attacking and try to outscore the problems caused by a leaky defence.
My team obviously relies on returns from injury but.
GK - Pickford
LWB - Godfrey
RWB - Coleman
CBs - Mina and Branthwaite
CMs - Doucoure and DVDB
LW - Grey
RW - Gordon
CFs - Richarlison and DCL.

I don't rate Mykolenko at all. Patterson i just don't think is quite ready yet. Let him settle and get a proper chance starting next season. Coleman certainly isn't the player he once was, but he adores this club and us a warrior. He will give his absolute all to help us avoid relegation.
No CDM is possibly a risk but DVDB seems to work his ass off trying to break up play and get back to defend so i think he'd keep us covered. We would be at risk of being overrun through center of midfield but with such attacking lineup, I don't think West Ham would be prepared for that and would have to keep a good amount of players sitting deeper incase of counters and breakaways, so that should in theory reduce the threat of them bullying us into our own third.
I just want to see us go for broke for once really.

Agree Worcester - no point sitting deep when the defenders are woeful and both they and the goalkeeper are error prone!
Sorry to hear mykolenko isn't good - had you seen a fair bit of him before we signed then? Because obviously since we signed him he's barely played, is a young man trying to adjust to life in a new country/ get up to speed in a faster league and there happens to be a war going on in his homeland too.
